Is there a way to hide certain statuses from the main status list?

We’ve noticed that Business Rules only hide statuses inside the ticket view, but they do not remove them from the global/main status list.

Can you advise whether this is possible?

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible directly.
I’d recommend creating a workflow that automatically updates the status to a different one whenever someone selects a status that shouldn’t be visible.

I’d really like to see business rules apply to the ticket list view as well—this limitation can be quite frustrating.
Additionally, you can experiment with the checkbox in the business rules that enforces the rule system-wide. However, this only helps in specific scenarios.
