Hello all,

 

I wanted to confirm if when a requester raise a new ticket from mail/phone…. the new ticket will be created with the Company field filled in which will be inherited from the requester. In the cases when the requester exist in the system and he has a company.

Yes. That’s actually the default behavior.

I’d suggest to double check the companies.

In the companies, there is a Domains field, which refer to Email Domains. When you populate your companies with their corresponding Email Domains, when an Email is sent to your FD instance and a new ticket is created, then, if the domain matches that of any of your companies, the ticket will be assigned to that corresponding company.
