Hello,

Please can anyone tell me exactly if this application “GDPR assistant” https://www.freshworks.com/apps/freshdesk/gdpr_assistant/
can delete a contact’s informations (email, phone, name, ….) without deleting the ticket properties that have been created by this contact, and change them to “ticket created by anonymous” or something like that ?

Hello @yasserB We're thrilled to have you join the Freshworks Community. The purpose of the GDPR assistant is to eliminate any customer data from Freshdesk. Consequently, the associated tickets related to those customers will also be completely removed.

In case you wish to preserve the ticket data while only deleting the customer information, you have the option to create a dummy contact. Afterward, you can update the tickets by assigning the dummy contact as the requester before proceeding with the GDPR deletion.
