When creating a CAB meeting, you can add the changes to be discussed during the meeting. Upon saving, an email is sent to all attendees. In that email, the default placeholder {{cab_meeting.change_list}} is added (see screenshot below). This placeholder contains a table with the following columns:

  • Change ID
  • Subject
  • Planned Start Date
  • Planned End Date
  • Change Type
  • Priority
  • Risk
  • Impact
  • Comments

At the moment, we have to enter the requester and change status manually in the comment field. The feature request consists of adding "requester" and "status" as columns in the placeholder {{cab_meeting.change_list}} so we don't need to enter it manually.

Hi,

Is there any response from Freshservice on this request?

Being able to customize the {{cab_meeting.change_list}} would be a great added value.

Kind Regards,

Robin

Preface: We are not using the “change meeting” functionality within FS.

We’ve done something similar on our end via Analytics.  Our CAB meetings happen every Tuesday/Thursday, and have a submission cutoff for non-emergency changes of 3PM the day prior. At 305PM Monday/Wednesday I have an analytics report setup and scheduled that will email out all changes with a status of “awaiting approvals”. Since you can customize all of the fields that go out in the PDF, it gives us this functionality you are looking for, albeit this wouldnt work if you are scheduling change meeetings on an irregular basis.

You could change your change meeting contents to include a link to an analytics page setup like mine as well to cover this gap in feature until they allow for customizability.

Relaunching this request. Being able to customize this table, would really be an added value.
