We do really need this feature in our several of automations.

At this moment moment we can create a time trigger which triggers based on “Hours since xxx” as illustrated below.

We would love to be able to set the time trigger based on a date field.

Example:

We send an item, file or similar on a specific date and need a kind of respons within 14 days/336 hours after this date we have set in the ticket fields.

If the customer expire this date, an action should occur.

At this moment the closet we come into this scenario in the time triggers, is when we choose “Hours since assigned (based on agents actions).

Though this way has several cons and therefore we would love to the feature above.

Hello AJ,

You can achieve this functionality through scheduled workflows. Depending on your time sensitivity, you can configure the workflow to check every X hours for tickets that fulfill the condition of "Last updated" being greater than Y.

For a more precise date stamp, you could set a timestamp in a task or utilize a custom field to mark the time when the file was sent ("File Sent"). Then, monitor for any instances where the timestamp exceeds 14 days.

Alternatively, you could employ a custom status labeled "Waiting on Customer." Utilize a supervisor rule to monitor the time elapsed since this status was assigned.

I hope this clarifies the process. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need additional assistance!
