The deal value displayed indicates the first month invoice to the customer only.  this can include one offs , reoccurring items , their unit prices and setup fees, but only for the first month.

The real deal total value is the sum of this over the duration of the billing cycle.

I’ve just checked, and thought there may be a solution using a formula on the deal, but as the deal line items are not exposed to the deal at this point, you cant get a sum of the reoccurring revenue (without setup fee) that would need to be multiplied by the billing cycle (with its reoccurring discount) and then added back to the one offs and setup fee.

Yeah - billing cycle and quantity are not being calculated in a way that makes sense.
