We would like to be able to have a multiple selection field. However, currently the fields only support single-selection. 

 

You already have this feature available in Freshsales: https://www.freshworks.com/crm/crm-system/introducing-multi-select-field-blog/ 

 

Can we implement this for Freshdesk?

This is a completely fundamental requirement? It’s bizarre this doesn’t exist on ticket fields when you can multiselect field options on creating views in Freshdesk, for example. I see the 7 year old related ticket was Archived. Why? 


Need this for contacts & companies


I have just requested this be added as well today, we need for our Products our clients have.  Any drop down should have the option to be able to multiple selections.

It's frustrating that despite a year of requests, there has been no action from Freshdesk on this matter.

As a fellow Freshdesk user, I would like to express my support for this idea. Having a multiple selection field would significantly enhance our ability to manage and organize customer data efficiently. I hope Freshdesk takes our feedback seriously and implements this feature in the upcoming release.

Listening to customers' needs is vital for any successful product, and I believe it's time for Freshdesk to prioritize this feature to meet the demands of its users. Let's keep advocating for this enhancement, and I sincerely hope to see it in the next release soon!


I totally get where you're coming from. Having a multiple selection field in Freshdesk, like the one in Freshsales, would be a game-changer. It's a feature that could make organizing and categorizing tickets a whole lot easier. I've seen it in action, and it's super handy.

Hopefully, the Freshdesk team is listening to us and takes a page out of Freshsales' book. It's all about improving the user experience, right?
