Allow ticket fields to be filtered by the != operator. For example, Group is not equal to “Group1”

Hi @rashmi.nag or any other Freshworks community moderator/manager out there,

What does it really mean for an “Idea” to go from New > Open? And what is the next stage after open?

This feature request was submitted 1 year ago, (in another thread as well), is one of the most upvoted I have seen and still haven´t gotten any update or response about what´s really happening with it.

I have a lots of ideas and feature request I would like to report here but to be honest I don´t feel so hopeful when seeing this thread 😅

This feature request was submitted 1 year ago, (in another thread as well), is one of the most upvoted I have seen and still haven´t gotten any update or response about what´s really happening with it.

I have a lots of ideas and feature request I would like to report here but to be honest I don´t feel so hopeful when seeing this thread 😅 

Hi @Thor Khodayari! That’s a really valid thing you’ve brought up, so thank you! As a team are working our best to improve the Ideas Segment for all our members and ensure the best actions can be taken towards your suggestions.
We are looking to set right few processes and also lay out the following -

  • guidelines for posting ideas
  • journey that each idea goes through when ideas are posted
  • what each idea status indicates.

We aren’t very happy ourselves with how it’s happening right now and this is certainly on our top priority lists to improve.

My request would be to go ahead and add your ideas and let the community also engage and share their views. This is going to just make it a stronger case to build the processes more efficiently. We would look into detailing the processes and other requirements for all of you at the earliest. Thank you once again for voicing this out.

This is a basic needed feature.   I would also like to see a != on the category field.   So many long-term tickets that I can put in another view, but I can’t exclude them from my main view.

Is this something we have to ask for to be enabled for our account? Because I still only have two options for filtering tickets - and I also don’t have this icon next to the label like you have:
