Custom functions are now supported in the bot builder for Freshchat and the Freshworks Customer Service Suite.

This is particularly useful when deploying bots on channels that don’t support customization, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, etc.

This is a step up from using bots to trigger, pass variables, and receive responses on functions defined on the website. Customers can now effortlessly define and execute custom functions on their website or within their bots, evading channel-specific limitations.
