Anyone else notice that the contextual discussion function, where you can type in a Task’s comment “@Robert “ to have the comment directed to other folks in your firm, is intentionally broken? Per support below, you now have to deploy Slack to your organization in order to do this going forward. The native functionality has been replaced…. Ugh. My school will not be implementing Slack this decade, so now what?
If you are missing this functionality as well, please raise it with support.

The discussion function in a Project's task is down, and has been down for at least a week. Let me know when this will be fixed.
Here’s a link to a short screen video showing what is broken. - via Citrix Sharefile folder.

Hi Dupre,
You are trying to do at mention in the comments section.
This is disabled because of the recent launch of the collaboration feature.
You will be able to do at mention in the collaboration widget. At mention on the notes section is disabled in project management.
This should help https://support.freshservice.com/support/solutions/articles/50000003605-getting-started-with-contextual-collaboration-in-projects-via-slack
