Apps and Marketplace Integrations

We have a client with a very specific use case for a real time Dashboard on Freshchat. The standard one in the system does not provide the full real time data the team need.  After speaking with the Freshworks Support team who have been a great help so far to find a solution, have suggested the best way forward would be to build out our own dashboard and obtain the data via webhooks. We currently don’t have anyone with these expertise so thought we would see if someone on here knows of anyone with webhook skills that can assist.

What key factors do you consider, such as data security, cost, scalability, customization needs, integration with existing systems, maintenance effort, and long-term flexibility? From your experience, which option works better for small vs large teams, and what challenges or benefits have you seen with each approach?

Hi, Freshworks community i am maryjane and  i am the developer of Unitv APK, an app that provides [briefly explain what your app does, e.g., entertainment streaming, utility features, etc.]. I’m interested in integrating customer support features within my app and would like to use Freshdesk or Freshchat. Can anyone guide me on the best way to integrate Freshdesk/Freshchat into my app for live chat or ticketing? Specifically, how can I ensure a smooth customer service experience within my app using these tools?

I was exploring different ways to improve productivity for small teams and freelancers. Often, we rely on heavy software for design or editing, but sometimes a lightweight mobile app can save a lot of time. For example, tools like Pixellab are widely used by individuals to quickly edit images, create social posts, or even design presentation graphics without needing complex desktop apps. While looking into this, I came across this blog which explains more about how Pixellab compares with other tools like CapCut, and also gives tutorials on making creative design cards. I found it useful as it shows how such apps can also support small businesses and job-related tasks where quick designs are needed. What are some tools you use in your workflow that make your daily tasks easier? Do you prefer mobile-based apps like Pixellab or always stick with desktop software?

App integrations typically work through APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). These APIs allow two apps to “communicate” and share data securely. Some integrations are one-way (data flows from App A to App B), while others are bi-directional (data syncs both ways in real-time). Modern marketplaces often offer pre-built connectors to simplify the integration process.

Hii can’t add meta channels. Error adding channel it sounds as revoked permissions someone of my old team did on Facebook :(could you help me?

Current scenario  Customers using Advanced Automation to send automated follow-up messages on chat want these messages to feel personalized. We’ve been trying to integrate WhatsApp since last week, and tried all troubleshooting provided to us by the support to no avail. Anyone here has encountered ‘Error in Fetching Numbers’? What can be done about it?  Thank you!

I am new to Freshchat development. I am trying to send Whatsapp message templates. This is the url that I am using to send the messages: https://api.freshchat.com/v2/outbound-messages/whatsapp  I get this status in `response.data.status`: Request created successfully. Check delivery status using status API The message doesn’t get sent, so I send a get request to see the message’s status and I see this in the `response.data.failure_reason`: 402: Error with payment method.I already added a payment method on my Whatsapp manager dashboard. Do I have to add a payment method on the Freshchat account too? I am still on the enterprise free trial because I am testing the capabilities of the API. How should I deal with this?

Hello, I am having issues with the Whatsapp Business Integration. I succesfully integrated a Whatsapp Business number with Freshsales. Messages arrive in the Freshsales Chat section but Freshsales does not provide the second “tick” / checkmark to the sender. Therefore to the sender it looks like the messages was only sent but never delivered. From a customer perspective this is bad. I am trying to find some kind of work-around. I tried having Whatsapp Business on the phone as well so I could just click through the messages there quickly so the sender receives the second tick. However it seems I cannot install the number that is used in Freshsales at the same time on the phone.Any advise on how I could handle this?

Hello, I already have WhatsApp business if I buy estate plan of freshchat  it’s free?

Anyone else notice that the contextual discussion function, where you can type in a Task’s comment “@Robert “ to have the comment directed to other folks in your firm, is intentionally broken?  Per support below, you now have to deploy Slack to your organization in order to do this going forward.  The native functionality has been replaced….  Ugh.  My school will not be implementing Slack this decade, so now what? If you are missing this functionality as well, please raise it with support.  8/18/21 Original support ticket statement: The discussion function in a Project's task is down, and has been down for at least a week. Let me know when this will be fixed. Here’s a link to a short screen video showing what is broken. - via Citrix Sharefile folder.https://pasadena.sharefile.com/d-s71a98974252b437fbb89e3a2fc744f668/21/21  Initial response from Support: “Hi Dupre, Thank you for contacting Freshservice Support! can we integrate freshdesk messaging in ionic project.?if yes then please recommend steps?

My situation is this: I am a developer attempting Freshchat API integration with our web application.I cannot use the default Freshchat widget as the iframe it creates doesn't play well with our url router.Starting the conversation seems like it would be easy enough:  Secret keys are stored on server (not public) Wrap Freshchat API calls on the server side Client asks for a new conversation (make or lookup userId) Client starts new conversation Agent on Freshchat receives the message   The WrinkleMy agent can reply in Freshchat to the message, but how can I send that data back to my client? My Stack will not allow me to send my client an unprompted message—we work on RESTful API calls. I cannot register webhooks because there would not be a feasible way to ensure any data goes to the correct server my client is connected to, nor a reliable way to update my client from the server with that data.My QuestionAre there any P2P examples where my client can interface Freshchat with the

Do you have plans to support the solutions of Freshservice? This would be  a hugh benefit for Freschchat!
