We’ve been trying to integrate WhatsApp since last week, and tried all troubleshooting provided to us by the support to no avail. 

Anyone here has encountered ‘Error in Fetching Numbers’? What can be done about it?

I’m sorry you are facing the issue, the error you have stated “Error in Fetching Numbers” will occur in one of the following events:

  • If your WhatsApp number is connected in your mobile device
  • If your WhatsApp number already connected in another WhatsApp Business Account
  • If your WhatsApp number connected to BSP and not properly migrated to FreshChat
  • If your WhatsApp number connected to different FreshChat or Freshdesk account

If any one of the cases match, you will be facing the issue in connecting your WhatsApp number.

Can you please share your FreshChat account URL and your WhatsApp number with country code to check the issue further.

We already have a ticket regarding this, however, we have not yet received any further feedback since Monday. 

This is greatly affecting our productivity, and have been affecting our business as well.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and we totally understand your urgency. as a matter of the next steps, we have escalated it internally to complete the delete the numbers from the backend.
 
In the meantime, please ensure you have deleted both numbers from your Mobile - WhatsApp Business App

Thanks for the reply. Can please notify us once it has been deleted from your backend? 

We cannot have the numbers deleted from the Mobile WhatsApp Business App as we need to communicate with our customers through WhatsApp.

However, before integrating, please delete the numbers for successful deletion.

We have successfully deleted the numbers from the backend and your WABA accounts.

Kindly delete the numbers from your WhatsApp mobile app and connect the numbers to your FreshChat account.
