Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to clear a field using the Workflow Automator, but I can't find it.

Here's the situation: I've created a custom date field that automatically fills in the current date when a reminder is sent for a ticket that has the status Pending User. What I would like to do is clear that field using a Workflow Automator if the status of the ticket is changed “Pending user” to any other status.

By the looks of it this is not possible. Does anyone of have a similar setup and how do you work around it? Or is my only hope a feature request (idea) and pray to the gods my request will be fulfilled?

Cheers,
SnuffleRoe

Freshservice doesn’t like passing a NULL it’s REALLY annoying and something we’ve complained about before. as sometimes I do want a NULL value.

My best suggestion would be to set it to a known time like 01-01-2000, and work from that, as your NULL.

Yeah…. I'm afraid I'm going to end up doing that as well….

I'll still put in an idea for this and see how much traction it'll get.

I spoke to Product ealier about the onboarding module and future updates and made the point we need to be able to pass NULL for dates.

And premium support, they said text NULL is now possible with a “” payload. But I agreed dates are needed too.
