How can I create a form in Freshservice, I saw it’s pretty easy to do in Freshdesk but I can’t seem to find it in Freshservice.

 

I want to create a form for customers so they can create a ticket and we have all the information going into the ticket properties. 

 

Please let me know how I can create this.

For incidenter:  Admin → Field Manager → Ticket Fields

For requests: Admin → Service Catalog

If I create the ticket fields, how can i share the page with the customers?

When they login to the portal they will have a button called Report an issue. 

 

 


Do you recommend to create different portals for certain customers if they need certain ticket fields?

Only way to do that is to switch to MSP mode, downside there are been few updates to that but it’s coming. 

If you have meta data on the requesters separating them you can use requesters groups and then business rules for form to hide and show field based on the metadata.

Seconded - I recommend putting Freshservice in MSP mode, unless you absolutely have to have separate portals.
