Hi all,I understand there has been a delay (a lot of) in addressing this (and a couple of other) issue in the forums. In fact, there is a thread about this in the Freshservice User Groups on LinkedIn. Before I being explaining, please accept my apologies for this delay in replying to this thread. We have been creating some new features (Bomgar integration, new self service portal, Box integration, improvements in automation, service catalog, mobile apps etc) in the last year - our engineers and product guys really had to work hard to make sure that we are good enough to compete with the older (and more established) service desk solutions out there. And trust me, we are almost there. We are seeing enterprises shift to Freshservice from the established players like ServiceNow, Cherwell, HP etc.We are scaling up real fast - we launched in Jan 2014 and currently 4500+ enterprises are using Freshservice for ITSM. We are scaling up engineering and support to meet the exponential demand that w

Hi gents,Sorry for the confusion/miscommunication here. We are coming up with a host of upgrades in the reporting module pretty soon which will also feature automated mailing. I know I did jump the gun by promising you something a bit too early. The thing is we have been spending a lot of time in getting the basics right (we are but a year and a half old product) before going in for the "good to have" features. In the time since I promised you the feature, we have rolled out our now famous service catalog, contract management, integration with Bomgar, Box, mobile apps (for agents and users), barcode scanning through our iOS app and much more. In the same time, we also went from a few hundred customers to close to 4000 customers. Hence, we had to get back to strengthening our infrastructure and scale engineering accordingly. The scaling up part was actually a pretty good problem to have. :)And the premise of Fresh[x] products is that we do not lock in your data. All your data is availab
Hi all,In order to streamline the 'What's New' section, we are closing this thread and transitioning to a monthly thread with weekly (or fortnightly) updates as seen here. Please follow the announcements page to stay updated. (Hit the star next to announcements or use keyboard shortcut - g+w.)Thanks.
One of the major addition if you switch to MSP version is the Multi Portal. Apart from this, we have also brought in some integrations as a result of feedback from MSPs.Yes. Departments are still called departments - this will be updated in one of our next weekend releases. Frederik, when you create a new department and assign it to the correct department (Under Multi portal), it will autoamtically assign the ticket to the department. It's available under Admin -> Multi portal. Do check it out. Michael, this is not supported in the sprout plan.
Guys,I am really sorry, but the integration is not ready yet.We usually don't promise an ETA and not deliver, but this time, I'm afraid it is not quite the case. Work did start on this integration, but got shelved. You will have to wait for some more time. I'm not promising an ETA this time around, but it will be done soon. You can use Zapier to connect both services in the mean time. https://zapier.com/zapbook/box/freshservice/Once again, my apologies. ThanksNarain
Hi Frederik,There is nothing in specific to be aware of. But there is bound to be loss in data when switching from MSP to the regular edition. But I guess one wouldn't be switching back and forth.Nothing needs to be done apart from switching it on in Admin -> Accounts. Thanks
