filter expression - NOT operator

How do you express the NOT operator within a filter?For example, find all tickets where a custom field is not null?I have tried the following formats?query="field!null"?query="field%20NOT%20null"?query="field!:null"?query="field:!null"All these formats fail

Missing API call: Create new Custom Field on an object

Is there a way to register a new custom field on a object using pure api calls?As part oi an app custom installation procedure, I want to create an additional custom field on the client object, but cannot find a way to perform this task using the API.I can see that I can get a list of custom fields, so could ask the admin person to perform the task on my behalf, but this will not give a good customer experience.

Size and position of modal dialogs

Is it possible to set the position and size of the modal form and dialog boxes?Looking at https://developers.freshdesk.com/v2/docs/interface-api/ there is no reference to being able to define the position or size of modal forms.Or do developers have to abandon using the interface API and develop their own solution based on iframes?

Unable to use $db in server.js with invoke method

Please can someone provide an example of using the $db.get method to read tickets, or other data within a "server.js" function.  I am trying to perform the equivalent ofclient.data.get("loggedInUser")to get the identity of the Agent initiating the request.  From the documentation, it appears this information is available to event handlers, as 3 parameters are supplied (iparams, requester, and data), but invoked handlers are only provided with 2 parameters.[Note:  All requests using the $db.get method result in "Record not found" errors, and the examples provided are associated with event handling where the loggedInUser is passed into the event handler function.]

App Development: Cannot get list of agents

I am attempting to execute the following code, but every time I get the error message that the credentials are unrecognised.  The APIKey I am using the the APIKey associated with the administrator account.  I have also tried with the email address and password with the same effect.  client.request.get( "https://"+<<domain>>+"/api/v2/agents", { headers: { "Content-Type": "applicationi/json", "Authorisation" :"Basic "+ btoa(`<<APIKey>>:X`) }} ).then( function(data){ Agents=data; } );  Basically, I am after the list of agents and groups, which I have noticed is always loaded whenever a page is loaded, even for non-admin users.i.e. https://<domain>>/api/_/bootstrap/agentGroups.As this is available (via browser development tools), I'm not sure why there is no equivalent API available to Apps?

API filters support for "in" list functionality

Please can we have some support for the "in" list logic as part of the API filtering.  I realize it is possible to use a series of OR statements, but given the restriction of 512 characters in the query string and needing to repeat the field name for each option puts an overhead of 8 characters plus the field name on each alternative.Alternatively, is it possible to increase the maximum query length, to say 4096, characters?

Events API - contact object

Is it possible to attach an event to changes of contact details?Is it possible for an app to be associated with the contact page and the ticket page?

Support for aggregation functions

Can we have some support for aggregation functionality rather than having to pull all the individual records from the database and performing the aggregation functionality locally which must put a larger load on the central servers.  For example  select responder_id, status, count(*) from tickets where status=2 or status=3 group by responder_id, status
