Asset fields in emails to customers

We have a workflow where we need to notify an external vendor via email that we have sent them a laptop for repair. The email they receive needs to have the name of the officer who logged the incident, a description of the problem with the laptop, and the serial number of the laptop we have sent to them. I can get all the fields out of the system, except the associated asset’s serial number. There is an associated asset name we can include, but we don’t seem to be able to output any other asset fields. How would we get the serial number, or any other asset field, to populate into the email template?

Using analytics module to send reports to management

I work for a College that has a fleet of Macbooks we give to our high school students. As an all boys school, we have a significant number of repairs every quarter, and we are trying to run reports that look at both repairs being done and loan laptops we have given to the boys.One of my reports is on loan laptops. Management likes to see a list of students in a tabular format, with some pie graphs at the top showing breakdown of individual year groups.The analytics module is excellent and works very well, but they want this report in PDF format. Unfortunately, this doesn’t appear to be possible currently as the analytics module only shows a single page when you email the report as a PDF.Is there any way that we can show all the data (with the graphs) in a tabular format? We were able to do this in the old reports module, but we seem to have lost this functionality with the new analytics module.

Cannot change To date and time for loaners in new UI

Hi all, I’m currently trying to change the “To” date and time on a laptop we have delivered but that has been returned to us early. In the new UI we are unable to modify the “To” date and time. This is what the old UI looked like: Anyone else having this issue with the new UI?

Multiple data exports from analytics module

So I’ve just been told by support that you cannot have more than one data export per module. Also, you cannot export data from the analytics module that goes over a single page. Can this be for real? This is going to force me to export every ticket logged in our system and I’ll need to apply Excel filters to get the data I need. The mind boggles...
