Freddy AI in Freshchat

How can I stream a text response back to the end user word by word using the Freshchat API? I’m implementing a specific use case where the response is generated by a custom LLM, and I’d like to stream the reply gradually instead of sending the entire response at once. Long responses can take long time, I want to reduce that. How can I achieve this?

So I’ve managed to integrate a simple FAQs in my chatbot, which allows the user to click the question, get the answer and then go back to the questions, but once the user starts a Live chat session with the Support team, they can’t go back to the bot FAQs.Is there any way I can make the customer go back to the bot FAQs after the chat session? Or how can I make the customer create a different session from his side and open Chatbot again.Thank you in advance to anyone who can help out.

A chatbot is a software application designed to simulate human conversation, either via text or voice. When powered by AI, especially machine learning and natural language processing (NLP), chatbots can understand user intent, respond intelligently, and even learn from interactions to improve over time.

Hi,We have whatsapp in freshchat combined with freshdesk. All works fine. Can we install whatsapp business on mobile phone so we can use both. Offcourse the same business number. How to handle this?Any suggestion will appreciated?

Our company is trialling the Freddy Bot and has a concern that continual responses are sent to the same companies over and over again relating to the same issues. These responses are often wrong or not required. We have regular email contact with external couriers and suppliers and rather than have the BOT respond would rather these particular email addresses are removed from the automatic BOT responses. For some of our affiliates this has also created issues on their end as this then creates additional tickets in their own CRM.Example our supplier emails us to say they have cancelled an order and the BOT advises them on our cancellation policy.  This happens everytime they cancel an order. When consulting Freshdesk, they responded that we could exlude ONE email address only.I want to address your concerns regarding our bot's automated replies. Currently, it is not possible to limit the bot's sending of automated responses to multiple email addresses. We have implemented a feature that al

Hi everyone,I’ve been working with the Freshworks chatbot self-service widget on my site, and I’ve encountered a bit of a roadblock regarding Content Security Policy (CSP) configuration. To provide some context: we recently decided to move from a third-party service to Freshworks’ native chatbot platform. However, after setting up the widget, users have reported that the chatbot isn't loading properly on certain pages, especially when accessed through specific networks. After some investigation, I suspect this might be due to CSP settings that need to be adjusted.I’m looking for some guidance on how to ensure that the required URLs are properly allowlisted. If anyone has dealt with this issue or has detailed steps on checking and updating CSP configurations for the widget, I would greatly appreciate your input. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Checking if CSP is enabled through the console. Attempted adding the suggested URLs to our policy, but the issue persists.Additionally, here’s a link

Hi,I was wondering if anyone works with custom fields within the contacts and with the chatbot. Does anyone use the chatbot to retrieve information and fit it into the corresponding (custom) fields?Cheers,Max

Hi.. Can we use the same whatsapp number (for integration) both in FreshChat as well as FreshCaller? If yes, then :1. What are the possible limitations ?  for example, challenges with incoming and outgoing calls ? If not, then:1. Will we keep receiving calls and make calls on the same as we continue one number for both freshchat and freshcaller?2. How does this change the experience for an agent as well as for customers?  Will they face any problem while calling or chatting on the same number?

We are self-implementing the FreshChat for one of our project teams, we have completed the bot design however, tasked to perform UAT without a demo number in place.  May I know if there is a way to still carry out the UAT without having a demo number in place? Is it possible to integrate one number for testing and then dis-integrate it after successful UAT.  Will we be able to integrate original numbers later on and go live or will there be additional steps to cover that I should be aware of?

Hello, please help me. I set up a flow with text as respond so that whenever a user ask a question, the bot will answer but the bot keep repeating the question after providing an answer, how can I stop this?

Hi there! I am looking for a way to capture user input into Google Sheets in a WhatsApp bot or a similar integration with Excel sheets.

Hi! I would like to know how can I attach a contact from my database into a Bot conversation. For example, If one person choose “Solvi” option, I want to reply him with the phone and email from this contact (I already created all of them in my database)

I have the following issue: we’ve published a chatbot with a certain amount of flows which can be closed by the user himself. The session will be solved from that point and the chatbot will be shown minimized (so the user can still have acces to it anytime). However, when the user clicks on the minimized chatbot, no new session will start and the whole chatbot acts buggy (because we havent thought about ‘re-entering’ the session). We want to show the user the first flow again, but we don’t have an idea how to fix this problem.Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hello there! So me and my team are supporting few different websites. We will have the chat widget branded for the each site, and we want to have different bots on each website. As the conversation bot is using topics and the topics are shared if the language is the same, I cannot seem to figure out a way to make different bots for the different websites. Is there a way to trigger bots or bot flows based on site id or is there any other way for me to achieve what we need?

I'm encountering issues with the Freshworks API integration on my website. Has anyone experienced similar challenges, and how did you overcome them? And also can Has anyone used Freshworks products to automate workflows and improve efficiency in the context of a file download website like FBReelDownload?

Hello,Today we had a meeting with a customer about Freshchat and their Chatbot.During this meeting, I've seen a few strange behaviors…Like when we've changed something and ticked on preview, the bot always started at Flow 1.1In our training environment, however, our bots always start the preview from the point where we have edited something. So say if you add a Flow 5.5 and want to check that, you just click on Preview it starts the preview at 5.5 and not on 1.1Is this a change that i've missed? or is this a setting that we can edit?Secondary, we've noticed that we cannot delete a pointer that is set.So, if the customer creates a flow (say 5.5 again) and then selects that when choosing option 1, the next step should be flow 6.1 and afterwards sees that it should be 6.2, it is not editable. Do we miss something, or is this normal behavior?Looking forward to hear from you!GreetZ!Chris.

Hi,I don’t know if my idea is feasible or not but I wanted to trigger a chat bot using our app’s push notification. We have integrated freshchat into our app via deeplinks and it’s working fine. To leverage freshchat’s chatbot feature, I had this idea to create a chatbot that show customized plans to a visitor based on their previous activities within our app.The idea was that once a user performs a certain activity, it triggers a push notification that lands a user directly into our freshchat window and thereby triggering a chatbot that shows customized plan to that user.I don’t how much of it is possible since I am quite new to this.Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

I have followed the documentation. I've gotten some support responses, but haven't found a way to make my bot "smarter".It only works under closed answers.Has anyone managed to make the bot more like an AI bot that responds to pre-trained language phrases?

Hi there,The Start Again button appears to be missing from our freshchat bot. Any ideas on how to get this back? We’ve tried in Chrome, Brave, and Firefox. Many thanks

Dear community,I am creating a chatbot that allows customers to sign up in the website. The chatbot is asking for email and phone number. I want to limit to only Belgium numbers, which starts with +32 with the country code. How can I add a condition that if the requester enters a non Belgium number it follow to a conversation that he can not register and if it is Belgium number then it allows the registration. I have tried using the function Contains  and then the condition: When I test it, the bot says True if I start with +32 but it redirects always to dialog 7.1. If I enter non Belgium code, it says false and correctly redirect to 7.1. I don’t know how to make to go to dialog 3.1 and also to hide the true/false answer, Is there maybe another way more simple to do what I am trying? Thanks!
