Find, vote on and share ideas for Freshworks products. Here is how it works and what happens next.
Every idea has a status. It shows where the idea is today.
Not every idea makes it to the end. Some stay open for votes as Future consideration. Others are Closed.
You get an email each time the status of an idea you posted, voted on or subscribed to changes.
No. Planned means the idea is on the roadmap. Timing can change as priorities change. We update the status when work starts and when the idea ships.
Six questions most people ask before they post.
An idea is a request for a feature or improvement that is not in the product today.
Something broken? That is a bug. Please contact Support so they can help you.
Yes. If a similar idea exists, vote and comment on it instead of adding a new one. Duplicate ideas split the votes, so no single idea shows how many people want it.
You get an email when the status of your idea changes. To follow an idea you did not post, subscribe to it.
An idea can be closed for one of these reasons:
Closed ideas stay searchable, so you can still read the comments.
The quickest way to make an impact is to back an idea that already exists.
Open the idea and select the vote button. Voting shows us which ideas matter to you. You need to be signed in to vote.
Open the idea and add your comment. The most useful comments say:
"I agree" helps less than a short example from your own work.
Select Subscribe on the idea. You get an email when the status changes or when someone replies.
Submit a new one. Use a clear title and describe the problem, not only the solution. Then we can see what you need, even if there is more than one way to solve it.

Considering that the list views in Freshdesk are pretty limited in their capabilities: Any tipps on how you've been working around these limitations?I'm posting this under ticket list, but it counts just as much (if not more) for company and contacts.
I can enter a sprint goal but then it's not visible anywhere else and appears to be lost when the sprint is completed. I would like it visible to my staff on the board and also when looking at sprint insights for previous sprints
It'd be nice to be able to integrate our internal knowledge base (xwiki) with FreshService.
Hi,I would like to be able to perform multiple actions when an SLA or time period is passed.Specifically, if a response is not given within X business hours and an agent has not been assigned, set/change the group, set an agent, set a tag and a note. The SLA system only looks at the time, not time and if agent assigned AND it's only action is to assign an agent.I can create a supervisor automation that looks at time since creation and if an agent is assigned BUT the time is calendar hours and i need it to be business hours. So, I would think it would be a good thing if :A) the SLA process could call a scenario automation (for multi step actions)andB) if the "time since" check in Supervisor automation could have a flag to be business hours. This would give a great deal more power to the customers and would involve only minor code changes as the automation processes are already there to be called.Ian
We hope that you all are safe during these extraordinarily difficult times. We as a Freshdesk family would love to know how are you ensuring that your team is giving out their best during these times. Are there any particular Freshdesk features that helped to run your business with ease?
Yes I can edit the look and feel via the portal pages, stylesheets and layout areas, but I can’t experiment easily without affecting the live system – option to have different themes (each of which would contain the mentioned items) - this would also provide a revenue area for you too maybe - much like the WordPress theme market. Also, it's not currently possible to upload images to use in the customisation - these have to uploaded elsewhere and then referenced, which is cross-domain and frowned upon.
When adding a new item to the backlog or an upcoming sprint, it would be nice if the item types would be sorted. See screenshots below.
I just noticed we cannot insert Solutions or Canned Responses into Forums. This would be extremely useful as we are trying to utilize our forums more.
I am trying to test a google calendar integration. Until now I am not able to get this up and running. I keep getting error messages. Is there a howto or manual for this integration?
As the title suggest, it would be great to have the ability to sort the values in a dropdown list by:- Alphabetical- Manual drop & Drag
We badly miss the ability to search by ticket title and then being able to select tickets (using checkboxes) for further actions. Currently, the only way to search by title is to use the generic search. When we use it we can only deal with tickets one at the time and this is very inefficient when you have many tickets that you need to perform an action on. Many of our tickets are created through automation and the inability to search and then select is forcing is to look into other options. Please let us know if this is something you are considering implementing.
Is there any way to disable the WYSIWYG editor, or write the HTML markup myself? When creating email notification templates, the WYSIWYG editor is inserting extra breaks all over the message to where I can't get a consistent spacing between messages.
When we do a search for two tags, it returns all the tickets that contain either tag, which is pretty useless for us. We need to see the tickets that contain both tags.Thanks.
As an Admin, the biggest area I get questions on is related to emails sent to FreshDesk and what did or did not happen to them.I'd love to be able to see the mail routing logs so I could see an inbound email, what happened to it, what ticket it was converted to, if it went to junk / trash and why.Personally I'd have half as many chats with FreshDesk support people and save a ton of time.
I'm here to suggest some changes to enhance to today to-do lists.Today to-do list don't have the option to add sub tasks or make tasks dependent of each other, this would be a big enhance to today to-do list In dashboard Every task have a line to say from each ticket this task is, why not collapse all tasks below the ticket name? (use less space, more clear)Ticket Name 1- task1- task2- task3Ticket name 2task 1task 2task 3There is not dedicated access to a To-do list feature it's almost hidden in dashboard and you can't rearrange the tasks or sort by priority? (task with priority would be great).Google to-do list have a details field for each entry so you can add more details about it.My opinion about the ticket to-do list (time tracking also) menu is that it's hidden below a lot of things, I thin that if you could move it below ticket description it would have a better usage (with more space too)The side menu, have icons when you click them the page rolls to, but sometime it doesn't, if you grab the idea from google that each menu have it own windows it could enhance not just the to-do list feature but all features will have a great use.
