Hi Ryan,I'm sorry for begin so late in responding to your query. Yes, the Android and iOS apps do not directly support the SSO authentication and they allow access only using the credentials that a user directly has with freshservice.To solve the issue, your users can request for a password reset link using the "Forgot password" option in the login form of your freshservice account and set a password for their accounts, by which they can login to the iOS and Android applications (at this point,the SSO creds and the freshservice creds stand valid).Please let us know if this worked for you. Hi Ryan,I completely agree with your point, Ryan. We are working on ways to implement SSO authentication in our mobile applications and since it hasn't been finalised yet, I suggested the workaround for the time being. I understand that it is very confusing to maintain 2 separate sets of credentials. I'll consult with my Product Management team and get back to you at the earliest.Thanks,Radheshyam

Hi Ryan,I consulted with my Product Management team and i'm glad to inform you that we already have this feature on our roadmap and you can expect this in 3 - 4 months time. I know that it is long but we are currently working on optimising the apps for iPads and Android tablets.I'll definitely keep you posted and i recommend that you follow the Announcements section of the forum, where we regularly update the features on our roadmap and also publish release notes for every month.Thanks,Radheshyam

How could we display the login page in the language of the user's browser (or system)

Hi Michel,The end user browser's language can be detected by using JS in the portal pages and can be translated using Google's Translate API (will be charged by Google).Regards,Radheshyam

Hi Chris,Did you configure your ticket fields as shown below,The fields will be displayed to the requesters (and be editable) only when the "Requester can edit" option is checked. When just the "Displayed to requester" option is checked, the field will just be displayed in the ticket details page (assuming that the field is holding a value)I hope that I have cleared your doubt.Regards,Radheshyam

Using Discovery Probe at Multiple Sites

Hi Charlie,Yes you can pull asset information from multiple sites using the Discovery Probe. This can be done by adding a new IP Range from the "IP Ranges" tab on the Probe and scanning it. This will work only when the new IP Range is accessible by the probe.If it is not accessible, you can do another installation of the Discovery Probe at the remote site and that would push the asset data to Freshservice. The probe installations on multiple sites can be easily managed from the Admin > Discovery section.Thanks.

Hi Jeff,I'm very sorry for the mixup here. The version with the Barcode Scanner feature is still waiting for approval from Apple. It might take a day or two for it to be released on the app store. Again I apologise for the miscommunication.

The barcode scanner will be accessible only by agents and not requesters. If you are already logged in as an agent, please log out and login again and see if this solves the issue.Also, if your agent role doesn't have access permission to the CMDB module, you won't see the Assets section in the app.

Hey everyone. As a first step to solve this problem, we have decided to soon allow filtering across multiple projects and create kanban boards on top of this. After this feature is shipped, teams will be able to filter "Epics" across projects and create a kanban board. This will allow you to get a glance of all the epics in the organisation.
