Using Freshdesk

I am new to Fresh Sales but have been using Fresh Desk for some time now. How do I get my Fresh Desk contacts to Fresh Sales?

I set an observer rule:- When ticket is updated by anyone without any condition trigger a webhook.Now that webhook gets triggered when status is updated or priority is changed, but it does not get triggered when custom fields are updated. Can you please help me how to listen to change in custom fields??

Hi there, Trying to build an app to connect to a custom API, I faced a strange issue :  My domain was always rejected when validating app using "frsh validate". After investigating, I found the issue was due to '-' in my domain name. Hello, Our java web application has been implemented to apply Freshdesk SSO. Everything is working properly. There is a request from our client when using Freshdesk SSO that I think it's similar to "Remember me" functionality when login to Freshdesk portal. Below are the user's actions: 1- End-users open one of browsers IE, Chrome, FireFox and this browser is set as default one in their computer. 2- End-users login to the application, click on a link that will authenticate user's account in Freshdesk and redirect to a Freshdesk specific page (SSO).

OK - there's nothing else I can test. Trying to trigger a webhook in Freshdesk via observer. - I can use the Freshdesk API without problem via cURL. Was able to update ticket etc, to test my calls without issue. - I can trigger a webhook to a DIFFERENT platform via my observer rule, and the payload I set gets passed over just fine. - I've tried BOTH the new and old API- I've tried authentication via username/password AND via API key*****Any insight appreciated. Essentialy, webhooks seem to work fine if they're sending to a non-Freshdesk URL. And API calls to the Freshdesk URL work fine from command line. BUT - webhooks triggered via Observer to the Freshdesk API do not work. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the authentication, because this is the only piece I can't test. Not a problem, more of a developer request.  My team would like to develop a fairly complex Freshdesk app. Limiting the app to be a single app.js is proving painful. In addition, it would be nice to be able to use es6, babel, etc.  I think a simple change would be to allow for a app.sh file where the expected output is the contents of app.js. Or something similar to allow us to compile app.js however we want. Another approach is to allow developers to use gulp/package.json, etc, to build out the extension.

Is anyone else having trouble with the search feature not working?  If I put in a ticket number, it works fine, but if I try and search by anything else (like an order number) it returns zero results.

Hi folk's, My name is Ananthu and I am a web designer.. I was going through your page and found many spelling mistakes and small errors... One of the main I noticed was in the place of freshdesk founder details.... The spelling of football is given as foosball.... please correct these small errors because they are so much noticeable for customers...I have attached a screenshot of that.

We can't turn on the requestor notification on "New ticket created", because it will always send the English notification instead of those for other languages.The problem appears to be that the language recognition for new contacts takes too long to run in the background, and as a result. The notification (in the wrong language, English) is sent first, at which time the contact's language is set to English. A few minutes later, I can observe that the contact's language is changed to the proper language. However, the wrong notification has by then already been sent out.This would appear to be something that could be fixed fairly easily, by having the notfication sendout delayed until the language recognition finishes. I would appreciate it if you could look into this, because for some customers, a confirmation of receipt is very important.

An custom app to be able to add into a ticket the ID of another one and so when you click on it, it open it to another tab. Ex. I write something to note to see this ticket #1234. So the : [ #1234 ] is clickable to goes to the actual ticket witch has this name number.

Noticed since the AWS Outage that the ticket queues do not auto refresh.   Anyone else have that problem ?

We've just moved over to FreshDesk and have found their support is definitely lacking. For example, they said they'd import our tickets from Desk.com by Tuesday and after following them up the Friday, they finally got back to us.I've also got a simple API question that I have been waiting an answer for. I asked 2 weeks ago, followed up multiple times asking for a quick update and still nothing. How hard it is to send a quick email to tell the client they do not have an answer but are working on it?Very disappointed. The software is fantastic, but the support is lacking. I understand growing business struggle to keep up and I'm fine with that. But when you ignore emails for days or weeks, I think there is a problem.

 Hi guys, I'm having a problem with a Dispatch'r webhook. I have pointed the webhook to an external address but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm quite sure its not working because I have checked the server logs and it doesn't have any entries for it. Additionally, I double-checked all the Dispatch'r options and even tried varying them with the same result. Is it possible that we need to whitelist an external address? Or maybe using external addresses in the webhook is not allowed? Please help me as I need to implement this soon. Thanks, Ashish

Hi,We have multiple products with corresponding web portals for each.we would like to automatically assign tickets created in one of the portals to a group according to the portal in which the ticket was open.I've tried to create a rule using the dispatch'r but couldn't find a way to do it.anyone knows if it's even possible? or how this can be accomplished?Thank you,Avi
