Using Freshdesk

Hey there, I’ve been experiencing problems while logging in to FreshDesk via Firefox ( 99.0.1 ). When my agent tries to login it just reloads the login page. No problems occur when logging in with Edge. Here’s what I tried to solve the problem:Deleting Cookies and History (did not help)complete new installation of Firefox (worked for 24 h)Changing the role of the agent (worked for 24 h) Here’s the real mystery: We have a Log-in-again-after-24-hours-policy in FreshDesk. 24 hours after Using the “Change role” way we experienced the same problems again.But changing the role did not help us this time.Resetting the password did not help, either.Of course deleting cookies and history neither.But this time it was not just a reload of the login page but we got this: First this screenAnd when we tried to login with the correct password Is there anyone out there experiencing the same problems or can give me any idea what to try next? Thank you in advance! Ulf

Hi everyone,  How can I see what users have an active client portal account? Doesn’t appear to be any report.Can’t de-activate and customer from logging in.Can’t allow just a group of users/customer segment to use it (yes know can do to knowledgbase).Anyone found another solution that links with Freshdesk. Thanks in advance. 

Is it possible to revoke portal access for a single customer?

This seems like a simple issue that must have been addressed somewhere. Please let m know if it has.When we upload an image to a ticket on the app from an iPhone, it is saved as “HEIC” format. If you try to open that uploaded image in the ticket on an iPhone, it jumps to a browser, asks you to download the image and then doesn’t do anything. Are there any “hacks” out there?  Thanks in advance!

I’m looking for a way (workflow or alert) to auto create an incident or service request that's attached to the contracts > contractor feature when a contract is set to expire. 

Hi everyone, We are an OTA (Online Travel Agency) and we use FRESHDESK, FRESHCHAT and soon what used to be called FRESHCALLER. At the time this message is being written, we have different channels through which tickets are created. The main ones are Freddy the CHATBOT or via incoming EMAILS.CHABOT : We gather a LOT of data from the clients booking (booking date, traveling date, insurance etc.) and we structurally push this information via the CREATE TICKET verb of the FRESHDESK API at the end of the CHATBOT CONVERSATION. As a result, the custom fields are filled in and we are able to calculate PRIORITIES (via the AUTOMATION RULES) based on these fields.    EMAILS : Here the situation is a bit more difficult. Let me try to summarize what happens : One of our system (outside of FRESHDESK) sends an email to the client, The client answers this email, via email of course, This client answer triggers the creation of a ticket in FRESHDESK unlike the case of the CHATBOT, here we do not have

Hello,We’re using Faraday + s3 links provided by the Freshdesk API when fetching tickets.  We’re able to download ticket attachments but are not sure what format they’re in when they arrive.We need to be able to encode/decode these ticket attachments and save them to our own s3 instance.  These will be PDFs exclusively. Is this something we need to change in the Faraday settings?

I searched for existing queries on this, but I did not find this one… Is it possible to make solutions articles and categories accessible by Group or Agent Role? Meaning I want to categorize my Solutions Portal and I want certain people from my company to be able to access certain documents. I want each user type and/or Group to access only certain categories or articles.Is this possible? I know you can create segments for Customers and Contacts - but can you create segments for agents?   

We use Fresh Desk for providing support to both Customers and colleagues.  Some colleagues are agents, some are collaborators, and some are neither. I’m hoping to make the portal the go-to place for raising tickets and for accessing solution articles, but I don’t think I can prevent customers from accessing a folder that I only want employees to access.When creating a Folder I can make it visible to one of the below, but not a mix (my scenario would be that I want to all Agents (I assume this includes collaborators) and anyone linked to my company (that would be anyone who isn’t an agent) Has anyone found a solution for this?  I’m thinking that the only way would be to set everyone up as a collaborator (assuming that the above “all agents” does include collaborators.  

Hello Freshworks,I use the font Verdana and set the font size to 14, but It looks 9 in the article.Why is it inconsistent?On google docs, the font is still showing correctly.

I am submitting this as an enhancement, as this functionality does not exist, to my knowledge. There have been a few requests/questions around this topic, but it appears they have all been archived, or the original need has not been captured. We receive tickets through various channels where we need to set or update the Subject for appropriateness and data governance. When tickets are received/created - the original requester email sets the ticket subject. We need the ability to set/update the subject using Automations, Scenarios, and Canned Responses. That way, when we programmatically or manually respond to the requester, the email subject line appears per our Company Policy and branding guidelines and provide consistency for data governance purposes. Furthermore, it is inefficient for end users to update these manually.

I have a scheduled workflow that checks if it is the “hold until date” (custom date field), and if it is, moves the ticket from hold or pending to open for review. As part of the workflow action, I would like to also reset the “hold until date” to a blank value. Is there a way to do this from the workflow action, or do I need to use a webhook? One thought I had was to use an expression node to produce a null date, then set the date field to the output of that expression, but I couldn’t get a formula to pass validation.

We have setup a supervisor rule to send out email to requester stating we are waiting for a response - We have found that sometimes that rule does not apply and send emails hourly instead of how configured in screenshot.  The issue we have is that it is not doing that on all tickets that meet the conditions.  Any ideas would be great.  The screenshot does have some details such as which day email is being sent at which stage, but I hope you get where I am going 

Hi,I cannot setup Freshdesk app.It does not recognise the url (copied and pasted from working desktop). It will not send a reminder. “unable to send a reminder at this time”. It has been saying that for 12 hours.Brand new Lenovo tab M8.  Android 13.Any ideas please? 

Hello!I am using Freshdesk, and have multiple customer companies. I have a portal set up for each company, with a custom url.I’m trying to get Freshdesk to be able to associate company A with company A’s portal and tickets, and company B with company B’s portal and tickets. I’d need the system to send the correct activation URL as well in the activation email. I am struggling to figure out how to do this. Is this possible? Should we only have one portal? If only one portal, how will the portal and system know to only show company A’s forms to company A users (and only show them tickets for company A as well). Thank you!

Freshdesk.Use case is we want to allow a logged in requester in the portal to be able to select a button in the portal to enter a new custom object record. For example, if we have a custom object called “Printer” with 3 fields, make, model, location.Can we add a widget or something to the portal so it has a new button “Create new printer”?    

When trying to create a ticket through the portal form, I am receiving the following message:'We are sorry. You have been restricted from accessing this helpdesk page’ Could someone help me solve this problem? Thanks for your time and support. André
