Find, vote on and share ideas for Freshworks products. Here is how it works and what happens next.
Every idea has a status. It shows where the idea is today.
Not every idea makes it to the end. Some stay open for votes as Future consideration. Others are Closed.
You get an email each time the status of an idea you posted, voted on or subscribed to changes.
No. Planned means the idea is on the roadmap. Timing can change as priorities change. We update the status when work starts and when the idea ships.
Six questions most people ask before they post.
An idea is a request for a feature or improvement that is not in the product today.
Something broken? That is a bug. Please contact Support so they can help you.
Yes. If a similar idea exists, vote and comment on it instead of adding a new one. Duplicate ideas split the votes, so no single idea shows how many people want it.
You get an email when the status of your idea changes. To follow an idea you did not post, subscribe to it.
An idea can be closed for one of these reasons:
Closed ideas stay searchable, so you can still read the comments.
The quickest way to make an impact is to back an idea that already exists.
Open the idea and select the vote button. Voting shows us which ideas matter to you. You need to be signed in to vote.
Open the idea and add your comment. The most useful comments say:
"I agree" helps less than a short example from your own work.
Select Subscribe on the idea. You get an email when the status changes or when someone replies.
Submit a new one. Use a clear title and describe the problem, not only the solution. Then we can see what you need, even if there is more than one way to solve it.

Hiya, Each month I track how many solutions articles we have, along with the views, likes and dislikes. This is really important to see how many customers are using the Portal. Currently I have to hand tally the numbers as their are no totals fields in FreshDesk. Can you please add totals or even better, a way to run reports on the Solutions? See attached for an example:)
Hi, I am trying to add the java script code as suggested by the fresh chat widget. While it does work on a normal HTML page. It fails to open on AMP pages (https://developers.google.com/amp).Can somebody help me out?ThanksSachin
Hey Guys,I have been reading documentation at api.freshservice.com, pretty cool stuff, I am wondering if we can create API calls and send them as announcements in customer service portal? is that doable?
The biggest thing I miss from Jira is the ability to make a board to join in multiple projectsI Have Devs working across multiple projects and they cant see their work in one spotalso jumping between projects is not fun - you cant bookmark two projects Its storing the project in in the session or a cookie and its always pulling me back to the last projectI want to easily move between projects
Goodmorning! We are currently migrating from Zendesk to Freshdesk, and I'm using the app Migrate from Zendesk. Most of our tickets and all of our contacts have migrated perfectly using the app, but I have about 500 tickets that come back with an error: It should be one of these values: 'Question,Incident,Problem,Task' [type] The only tickets that are not imported are the ones with the type Task.As we're a Dutch company, I initially set up our labels on the Type field in Dutch in Freshdesk. I changed this to the English label, so it would match with Zendesk. However, I'm still getting the same errors on these tickets. Can anyone point me in another direction to figure out this issue? The error message is very limited, so I'm finding it difficuly to pin-point the cause.Thank you in advance!Regards,Michael van Dijk
Hi,I want to use freshdesk for my team.I am not a customer (Yet).I want to know if freshdesk has automatic noise cancelling features (the same way google meetings has and the same way skype has).I will be willing to purchase freshdesk if you have this feature. It will help everyone in the long run. Thanks for your help,Stay safe,Good Bye.
This is a feature available with some other service desks, but it's basically the ability to open ticket tabs within a single browser tab so that you don't need multiple browser windows or tabs open for different cases. An example below is from Zendesk (ignore the arrows as I got this from google) but if you look just below the URL, you have multiple tabs in a form of integrated quick toolbar. This can be searches, or tickets, requesters, etc. So that all is handled within a single window. When it comes to agent productivity, this also caches, so when you close it and reopen, you have that what you still need open at least. It would be a fantastic addition that has also already been requested by many of the teams I've onboarded into FreshService.Would be great to see this on the roadmap at some point, unless I've missed it and it is already :)Sincerely,Constantin Vohs
We created a custom checkbox field on our tickets to track if it needed an article written about it. I can't find a good way to search or filter by checkboxes. I see custom dropdowns show up to use as filters, but not checkboxes. Has anyone run into this or has a way to search or filter on a custom checkbox?
Currently, you can require that a ticket is categorized before manually closing a ticket with the quick button along the top, or by changing the field itself from open to closed.Right now though, this doesn't apply to responding to emails, and having an automation that closes the ticket upon response. I feel like this should be an addition to the rule, as I'd imagine most business have automations in place to resolve/close tickets after they respond to get them out of their inbox, and reopen them when a customer responds.
I require myself and my team to add tags to each ticket for ongoing analytics. Tags are actually one of my top 5 favorite features of Freshdesk. I would love to have the option to view and edit those tags in the mobile app, even if I had to click the edit button and have another field on that screen. Thanks!
