Using Freshdesk

Hello,I'm writing an app that is working with Freshdesk API. I was researching the API and didn't find the solution how to get information about first call resolution from a ticket. I know what first call resolution means but don't know how to acquire it from Freshdesk API. Is there any solution to this?Best regards

Hi there! Our company is working on a webplatform where a user can fill in a webform. After submiting, we want to create these 3 things in Freshdesk (using php api):1) a company2) a user (linked to that company)3) a ticket So far so good, but when I create a new user and the given company already exists, I get a conflict response 409 (company name has to be unique) So in this case I would like to link the new user to the existing company. But I don't know the required company's id... (to link the user to it) So I tried to retrieve a list of all companies existing in freshdesk and loop through all of them, to get a match and return that id. Problem is for every company retrieved an api call is performed, so (as we have a list of hundreds of companies) quickly I get to the api limit of 5000 requests per hour. Hi guys, It's great that you've managed to deliver the failed delivery notifications after year and a half SLA struggling at your clients' side. However, it seems that you've missed a thing! Those notifications do not work when we use the outbound email functionality. Some of my colleagues are using these a lot and again, it impacts our SLAs since our clients expect to receive stuff on time. And in case of a temporary mail server problem (it happens) they do not receive those regular outbound emails. And guess what? Again, we never knew that the outbound email reached its destination. When can we expect a fix for this? Please don't tell me another year and a half... Best regards, Anton

I just wanted to run a node app using sockets via fdk command. I have followed the documentation and created my-frist-app  and when i run the app it shows "Cannot GET/" error. Pls help! How to solve this :)

Hi all - when I forward mails from my account mail to my freshdeck generated mail for receiving tickets, it does not show up. My account mail is also the one I use as an agent in my own help desk. Is there a built in "block" from adding tickets via your own account/agent mail? And can I unblock it?

I want to post Freshdesk ticket details in my portal using the Freshdesk API.   However, I don't know my portal users FD ID and PW (or API Key).   I want to use the SSO mechanism, where I manage identity in my portal, and pass user information and a hash of login details in the HTTP request to Freshdesk.   Is this possible?  I don't see it documented.

Hello, I am trying to go through old conversations on all of our tickets and change the privacy of any notes we have made, with a source value of 2 (note), from 'false' to 'true' (public to private.)  After going through Update a Conversation and searching the forums, it seems like this is not a possibility. Is there any chance that I am missing something or that this could be made available in the future? Thanks, Chris

Hi Support, Initially i was trying to log a ticket but i cannot log a ticket via your site so i will do it this way.I have to set up anew customer portal on our site ( https://mclachlanlister.freshdesk.com ) and it has been a while since i did the first two so i was wondering if there was a set of instructions to follow ? I know i need a DNS entry but i am unsure on the format ? i also know i need to set up an email and have ti forwarded to @mclachlanlister.freshdesk.com But just not 100% sure on the process to make sure i get it all correct.Help please

Hi, I am currently developing a web form which creates a new ticket in freshdesk (PHP API). When I open my freshdesk portal, I see the new ticket and all input fields are coming true as expected, except for the group assignment ("group_id").   The group_id is shown correctly in the response header. But when I open the created ticket, the ticket group always has the same value. It's not using the group that I'm assigning programatically. I have a custom product on my WordPress blog through WooCommerce. I've used the checkout field editor extension to add several fields that the customer needs to fill out when he/she is checking out. The information from these filled out fields is then stored in the WooCommerce order info.Is it possible to automatically create a ticket when an order goes through, that would include all the order information right on the ticket?Thanks!

GET /api/v2/companies First: I can not filter companies by fields? Example: ?name=xxxx or ?domains=xxxx etc...  Second: When i search all companies, the limit is only 30 registries? Thanks!

We've used this extension in Magento https://github.com/freshdesk/magento_extension and upon trying to visit the area in Magento, it hangs forever and times out after about 5 minutes. We have a requirement to count the # of likes user comments being received to measure how much active a comment is and say which user comment is actively looked at. I was able to retrieve the comments information but can't get the # of user votes through API. In Admin UI i can notice that number of up votes and who has upvoted is using the information /discussions/topics/xxxxx/users_voted Any idea how i can get this through API v2 calls?

Hi, I'm saving the contacts through the API... How i send two or more custom fields in request.
