Find, vote on and share ideas for Freshworks products. Here is how it works and what happens next.
Every idea has a status. It shows where the idea is today.
Not every idea makes it to the end. Some stay open for votes as Future consideration. Others are Closed.
You get an email each time the status of an idea you posted, voted on or subscribed to changes.
No. Planned means the idea is on the roadmap. Timing can change as priorities change. We update the status when work starts and when the idea ships.
Six questions most people ask before they post.
An idea is a request for a feature or improvement that is not in the product today.
Something broken? That is a bug. Please contact Support so they can help you.
Yes. If a similar idea exists, vote and comment on it instead of adding a new one. Duplicate ideas split the votes, so no single idea shows how many people want it.
You get an email when the status of your idea changes. To follow an idea you did not post, subscribe to it.
An idea can be closed for one of these reasons:
Closed ideas stay searchable, so you can still read the comments.
The quickest way to make an impact is to back an idea that already exists.
Open the idea and select the vote button. Voting shows us which ideas matter to you. You need to be signed in to vote.
Open the idea and add your comment. The most useful comments say:
"I agree" helps less than a short example from your own work.
Select Subscribe on the idea. You get an email when the status changes or when someone replies.
Submit a new one. Use a clear title and describe the problem, not only the solution. Then we can see what you need, even if there is more than one way to solve it.

Turns out when checking Conversation Label reports on Freshchat, you can’t view the tickets or chats received under each label. You can only view the numbers received. While number is important, it’s also helpful to be able to view the trend of conversation or issues reported under each label. It would be helpful if we can implement it just the way it looks for Freshdesk under Ticket Volume Trends whereby you can filter by Type and view the tickets received under each type.
Right now after an edit it goes back to the first screen when there are multiple screens of scenarios, instead of continuing where one left off.
We are looking for a way to automatically convert calls into tickets right after the call is hung up.Currently, when there is a call queue and the agent does not save the notes (because the agent have to answer another call) and they have to run through the call history again then create the ticket manually.
Currently, when using the Calendar App - Schedule meeting with Requester feature, the meeting created in the Outlook calendar only includes a link to the ticket, there is no link to join any meeting. The Schedule meeting with Requester feature would be usable if it would actually create a real meeting with a link to join, for example a Teams meeting or a simple Outlook meeting. Thanks
I have helpdesks in multiple countries, both in and out of Europe. Since Contacts are globally shared by agents without restriction, agents outside Europe can view the personal information associated of European contacts.I have to imagine that others have the same issue. Is my situation unique?Obviously, ticket data is separated by Groups. Why can’t we do that for Contacts?I mentioned this to Freshdesk many times but they do not take the issue seriously.
Hi,It would be great to have a feature within Solution folders/articles, where we can set up article visibility based on Agents/Groups/Verified Users/Unverified Users…There are numerous ways in which this feature could make a significant impact and be incredibly useful.
Similar to Light Agent in Zendesk. Many companies using Freshdesk - mine included - also use it as their internal support system for ITSM. This means nearly all staff are Collaborators as they may need to be looped in on tickets as Subject Matter experts. Currently the UX is very disjointed. They can only create tickets via email or the customer portal, but can only add (internal) notes via the Agent portal. Zendesk Light Agents - our former ticketing system, we moved as Freshdesk overall is a better product for our use - allowed these types of users to create tickets and update them in one portal alone, restricting them to internal notes only. This is a much smoother experience. Please consider doing this.
Hi team,It will be great if we can redirect the interaction efforts on LinkedIn to all-in one tool, Freshdesk. So that all the incoming reach outs received on LinkedIn can be handled as a ticket on Freshdesk, Looking forward, thanks.
USER STORY:As a: User in a small company that doesn’t have separate support agent groups, such as Freshdesk’s default Customer Support and EscalationsI’d like to: Remove the Group Ticket field, or at least hide it in the Agent Ticket viewIn order to: Simplify the interface and thus our ticketing process
Hi Team, We use this app because Freshchat is not yet able to reply-to on Instagram comments. As the support team mention in ticket #13576450, Freshesk currently doesn't support emoji's and the system passes the emoji's in a system readable format and not as emoji. Please help to share this idea to the developer team because the customer really hope that in the next update, you can provide emoji’s when replying to comments on Instagram because emoji is one thing they need to give a cheerful and friendly impression when replying to customer comments.Thank you.
As a customer I want to see search results immediately when entering keywords in the Freshdesk help widget - without having to start the search with pressing “enter” or to click on the magnifier symbol. This behavior is already implemented in the Freshchat widget.
Hello all, We have an audit team for checking our agents tickets/responses if they reply within our company standards and for more reason and we would like Freshdesk team to consider having the option for an agent name when viewing a ticket to do not appear at the top right, who is viewing the ticket (collision feature). Please note that the audit team would not reply to tickets so no risk for collision. Thank you!George
With some of the automations we are able to leave a private note, and with some we are able to send the customer an email. However we are often lacking the option to leave a public note. a public note would often be better than an email because then the customer could respond to the same thread, and it would be easier to see what messages have been sent to the customer.
Hi, Is there a way to make a ticket private so that not everyone in the requesters company can see it. This allows us to change the ticket types to include support and complaints
