Solved

I've reduced my images' size, but they're still getting cut off on mobile. I can't shrink them further. Is there any code or workaround I could use to fix this?

Hello.I’m wondering if there is any way to add a navigation menu to our knowledge base. When reading an article, the left pane shows “Related Articles” but if we wanted them to be read and followed in a specific order, it’d be much more helpful to have the entire Solution tree as something that can be made expandable. Sounds like basic functionality, but I can’t find how to make it work.Something like:Category A Folder 1 (expandable) Folder 2 (expandable) Folder 3 (expandable) Category B Folder 1 (expandable) Folder 2 (expandable) Category C Folder 1 (expandable) There wouldn’t be a need to always go back home. I know we can directly link from one article to another but that’s not what I’m looking for. Any help will be appreciated.Thank you.

When we add a private note to a ticket, the ticket ID is included in the email. When we reply to a private note, the ticket ID is not in the email. Any idea how we can set ‘reply to note’ to include the ticket ID?

I’m looking for some best practices for organizing a growing Knowledge Base in Freshworks. As the number of articles increases, it can become difficult for users to quickly find the information they need. What structure, categories, tags, or search practices do experienced Freshworks users recommend for keeping a Knowledge Base easy to navigate and maintain? Also, are there any common organization mistakes that should be avoided?

Hello Freshworks Community,We are testing background listener stability and remote webhook payload handling when integrating Freshworks CRM and ticketing API endpoints into automated enterprise systems.Technical Setup: Our integration architecture at Frontline Sales Consultancy (flsc.co.uk) triggers automated B2B notifications and REST API syncs over HTTPS (TLS 1.3). The Issue We're Facing: Under heavy concurrent load spikes, background POST webhook listener sockets occasionally report HTTP 504 gateway timeout responses before acknowledging payload completion. Direct REST API requests to the same remote host resolve normally under 150ms thresholds. Are there recommended network socket keep-alive settings or queue worker retries to prevent connection drops during high-volume data syncs? Any advice on managing asynchronous background worker threads would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi everyone,I’m in the middle of configuring a custom domain portal for our team's knowledge base and ticketing page. I’ve added the required CNAME records pointing to our Freshworks instance on our domain registrar's DNS panel, and external lookup tools confirm the DNS routing has propagated globally. However, the portal status inside the admin dashboard still shows pending validation for the custom SSL certificate, and accessing the custom URL triggers a certificate trust warning. Are there any specific CAA records or DNS configurations required on external registrars to ensure the auto-generated SSL certificate validates without hitting CA authorization locks?Advance Thanks for any insights!

Hi,I’m trying to use the Freshdesk-Slack integration..I added some new public channels to our Slack in order to redirect the notifications there, and when I’m trying to add these channels to the Access Public Channels, they are not in the list of choices.Any idea on what the problem might be?This is happening only with the public channels, if I create a private channel it appears in the Access Private Channels list immediately Thanks!

Has anyone else hit the 400 maximum number of public/private notes on a ticket?I have seen the odd long running issue hit 1000 once, but this week an agent hit an issue trying to add a note and FD support have advised that it’s been capped and the workaround is create a new ticket.Nothing in the last few release notes that I can find

It is possible to have the OoO Autoreply emails logged on the tickets in case the requestor is out and we as agents sent an email waiting for his response? If yes what are the condition to work ?we received this response and not sure if do we have the possibility to make it work:   "This is not possible and is out of scope. Out of office emails from Outlook don't respect the subject of the email they fire in response to. Freshservice will only add replies to a ticket where the subject is in the required format. For example, an email sent to a user who is OOO, with a subject of "Test", will send the OOO with "Automatic Reply: Test", which means the subject isn't respected and Freshservice cannot match this to the ticket. This is an issue caused by how Exchange/Outlook function." Is this working for anybody here? Thank you !!

Hello. I’m making a call workflow in which I want to ask the customer a few questions and then send the answers to an APIFor this, I need to store my customer’s answers somewhere. I didn’t find the way to do this in the call workflow tool.As a workaround, I want to send the inputs to a database I’m running. But I can’t do this neither because custom actions can’t get more than value as input.Does anyone know how can store my customer’s input?

Is there a way to turn off the SLA time within the Android FreshDesk app? I have it turned off when I go to the admin - workflows - ticket fields - status settings, but when I open the app on my phone, I still see the alerts “OVERDUE” and “RESPONSE DUE”. I would like to have those turned off, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Every time we reply to a ticket the default text it enters is Hi <Firstname> <Lastname> Is there a way to change this to just the firstname?  Every agent we have the first thing they do is have to edit the first line.

Hi everyone,I'm running into an issue with the Freshdesk Customer Portal and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.We have customers who are configured to view all tickets belonging to their company. However, we're seeing different behavior between customers:Customer A can see all company tickets and has a “blank” (All) option in the Created By filter. Customer B and Customer C have the same intended company-wide ticket access, but their Created By filter only shows the individual members of the company. There is no “blank” option. Because of this, B and C are unable to select a single option to view all company tickets. This functionality worked previously, and Customer A can still use it, so we're trying to understand why it is only missing for certain customers. What we've triedWe verified that B and C have the permission to view all tickets belonging to their company. We also tried:Disabling the company-wide ticket visibility permission. Hello Freshworks Community,I’m reaching out here because I have an urgent billing/invoice issue and I have not received any response from the official support channels.I have already contacted:support@freshworks.com billing@freshworks.comHowever, I have not received any reply so far, and my issue remains unresolved. This is becoming quite frustrating as I need clarification on my invoice urgently for finance reconciliation purposes.Could anyone please advise:Is there another support channel or escalation path for billing issues? Is there a direct account manager or escalation email for urgent cases? Has anyone experienced faster resolution through a different Freshworks contact method?I would appreciate any guidance from the community or Freshworks staff on how to escalate this properly.Thank you.

How we can send Attachments via Webhook Trigger from Freshdesk Automation?

Hi everyone,I am exploring whether Freshdesk could be used to organize FAQs, contact enquiries and support content for an independent WordPress information portal covering skills development opportunities for women in Punjab. The website already contains application guides, eligibility information, training details and frequently asked questions. I would like to understand the best way to connect this content with Freshdesk without duplicating everything or negatively affecting the existing website’s SEO.Would you recommend using Freshdesk Knowledge Base categories, embedding selected articles in WordPress, or keeping the knowledge base on a separate support subdomain? I would also appreciate advice about multilingual content, analytics tracking and maintaining consistent branding. Thanks in advance for any practical recommendations or examples.
