I would like to call a few REST API cals when agent send activation email to allow enroll user to MFA authentication

We use the Atlassain JIRA Plus App and works will except when a JIRA user Edits a existing comment. When this happens the comment is not picked up by the Webhooks and is not pushed back to the FD ticket.  I would think ALL customers would want this functionality as we are missing some critical updates when a JIRA comment is edited. Can the WebHooks be changed to pick up ALL changes in JIRA comments no matter how small?  Other connectors to other platforms (ADO) pick up the edits :).

I have a webhook runbook set up on a hybrid worker in Azure that is written in PowerShell 5.1. When the runbook is triggered, the webhookdata object that is delivered is null. Below is the simple test script I’ve created as a starting point using an example from Microsoft documentation. When it runs, the WebHookData object that is delivered by the webhook is null. param (    [Parameter (Mandatory = $false)]    [object] $WebHookData    )if ($WebHookData) {    write-information $WebHookData    if (-not $WebHookData.RequestBody) {        $WebHookData = (Convertfrom-Json -inputobject $WebHookData)        write-information $WebHookData        }    $WebHookData | set-content -path "<some path>" -force    $VMS = (convertfrom-json -inputobject $WebHookData.RequestBody)    write-information $VMS    }else {    write-information "WebHookData is null"    } At one point, I was receiving data, but at some point, it stopped for reason I cannot figure out.

To remove a grid gap from HTML/CSS code, you can use the “grid-gap” property and set it to 0. This will remove any spacing between grid items. Alternatively, you can use the “gap” property, which is a shorthand for both “grid-row-gap” and “grid-column-gap” and set it to 0.FontXS

I contacted support about this, and they recommended that I post it here for Freshworks developers. When I attempt to submit a topic with several tags, I get a 505 “internal server error.” Two HAR files are attached: one for a successful submission using two tags, and one for a failed submission using three.

Hey Community,I am try to use analytics in order to build a dashboard that would show me the number of unresolved tickets by the hour of the day (as it would help me to track the workload during the day). Also, I wish to be able to see this dashboard for each date that I would like to put as a filter on my dashboard (today, yesterday, 2 days ago etc.)Does anyone has an idea how to make such kind of dashboard? Thanks!

Hello all!We have recently been trying to make some automation rules for re-opening of child tickets and have identified that if an agent only has view access to a group and adds a note then the automations doesn’t trigger as the system doesn’t seem to see them as an agent in that group. Has anyone come across anything similar and found a workaround? We don’t want to provide full access to groups for all agents which is currently our only workaround. Appreciate any feedback

🙏Mods, please move this ticket if I didn’t put it in the right place!  Thanks!Based on the API documentation found here: https://api.freshservice.com/#create_child_service_requestNote 1:Association of child Service Request to a deleted or a spammed ticket is not allowed.Note 2:Nesting of a child Service Request under another child Service Request is not supported. I should be able to use this endpoint, passing in a parent ticket id of a Resolved ticket.  But doing so results in the following error: "code":"invalid_id","message":"There is no record matching the id: 1337" Please either update your documentation or change this behavior.SOLUTION: The way I got around the issue is by reopening the parent ticket and trying again.

We use the Teams bot with Freshdesk Support - and it needs some TLC:The available screen space is not used, and it really needs to be New comments include all ticket content. This is unnecessary IMO, and coupled with the issue about, it means that its basically impossible to read the tickets (see attachment)I’d love to use this more, but basically, I cannot.

We’ve been using Freshservice for a while now and earlier this year adopted Onboarding and Offboarding, in which we utilize Workflow Automator to automate certain aspects of what we do. Because of this, we’ve noticed multiple issues. Dependent Fields (Onboarding) We’ve noticed that in Employee Onboarding, it’s impossible to access the lower levels of a Dependent Field. Currently, we use one so that our HR team can notify us of a new member’s department, but can only access level 1 of the dependent field. Unlike in a Service Catalog Item, there is no dropdown to select level 2 or 3.Dependent field when viewed via the “Employee Onboarding” section of the placeholders menuDependent Field when viewing from the “Service Item” section of the placeholders menu Paragraph Fields (Offboarding) Paragraph fields are inaccessible through the offboarding section of the placeholders menu. User being offboarded dropdown (Offboarding) When trying to select information about the user being offboarded, o

Straight to the point.Example > Customer sends an email with description:"Hi, I'm not able to login into my account"An automatic reply will send them an email with a link to our KB/FAQ based on keywords used in that email (in bold)"Hi, it looks like you are having problem to login into your account. Please check the following article in our KB/FAQ to save time and avoid waiting too much time KB > how to reset your passwordKB > how to setup a new passwordKB > why I can't access to my account"Is there an app in the Marketplace or anything in Freshdesk that can do something like this? Thanks for your help.

In my FreshService Sandbox that I am working in trying to do some automation we have some fields as shown in the pic I want to be able to download these attachments, but I cannot find a way through the API to access these, These are attached when the ticket is created and need to be in these specific fields.I can access the text in the field without issue, via API, but not the attachments. Is there even a way to do this via the API? I have tried everything I can think of without success.

I am on a free trial and i keep getting this error, what am i doing wrong?Error: Ember Data Request GET /api/_/collaboration/threads returned a 404 Payload (application/json) [object Object] It always shows up when i view tickets. Thanks all

Hi All,New user here.  I am setting up our dashboard and I’d like to be able to display Urgent and High Priority ticket numbers, but when I set this widget up, it showed me a count of 5.  I knew we didn’t have any open tickets that were urgent or high priority, but realised it was showing all of them, which included the 5 closed ones.I can’t seem to find a way to filter the widget to only show those tickets that are not closed or resolved.Any help is much appreciated.

Hi there, I tried to import some companies following your process in CSV, using the right format, the right headers but the mapping fails despite multiple attempts. With Hubspot I can import Excel files and the mapping is suggested (green = fields are identified and mapped, red = fields need to be mapped manually). That would be great to simplify this process and make it simple for all 😀

Adding this to this particluar forum even though this is for Freshservice and not Freshdesk.  There doesn’t appear to be an API subforum for API in Freshservice? But anyway, I’m trying to update old tickets with summarized resolutions notes via API (yes, without Freddy) but haven’t had any success.  Has anyone had luck using API to update Resolution Notes in a ticket?  In Freshservice’ defense I don’t see any documentation about using the API in this way.  But I was hoping it’d be a simple matter of generating a body/json that looks like: {     “ticket”: {           “resolution_notes” : In order to fix this we had to use this 3 step guide”,           “resolution_notes_html” : <div dir="ltr">In order to fix this, we had to use this 3 step guide."</div>     }}The error I’m getting back indicates that it’s not an expected field saying “Validadtion failed” and listing the “resolution_notes”    I’ve tried with bypass mandatory and without.  Am I overlooking something simple in th

How do others utilize Facebook within Freshdesk.  It is very nice how the twitter posts feed into the Social area and you can review without every tweet becoming a ticket.  Would be great if you could monitor Facebook posts in the same way without them becoming tickets.  I understand you can use the filter for key words but it would be nice to have a social media agent you can monitor the entire Facebook flow without leaving Zen.  THen being able to convert specic posts they see into tickets manually. Are there some marketplace apps that some have utilized that provide greater functionality with Facebook/Fresdesk in this way?  Would be nice to have it contained within Fresh and not having to leave to a third party app.

My site has a side bar: Instead of displaying “related articles” which are rarely actually related, I’d like to display the Category/Folder list that the article is inside of.It’s the same view that is found on the Solutions Home page. However, if I just take the code from the Solutions Home Page and drop it into the article view, it doesn’t work. It displays nothing:<!--Display Categories and Folders --><section class="sidebar content rounded-6 fc-related-articles"> <h2 class="heading">{{ category.name | h}}</h2> <div class="cs-g-c"> {% for folder in category.folders %} {% if folder.entity_collection.size > 0 %} <section class="cs-g article-list"> <div class="list-lead"> {{ folder | link_to_folder_with_count }} </div> {{ folder | sub_folder_article_list:5 }} </section> {% endif %} {% endfor %} </div></section></section><!-- end -->How do I get this display from the category d

Configuring Email Notification templates is quite a tedious and time-taking process right now. This process could be made easier by adopting an Atomic design principle to save HTML signatures, buttons, greetings, and salutations as components so they can easily be selected and only the body text can be changed throughout different templates.I made the effort of copy pasting each HTML template throughout the different Email Notification categories, but the company logo URL in the signature has changed and in order to change that, I'd have to go to each template separately and change that.I hope you consider this request for a better User Experience.

Does the Expiration Reminder for Freshdesk application still work with freshdesk?I tried to install it, but all the explanatory pages provided in the marketplace no longer exist,What's more, it says that the app is free, although on their website I see that it is paid

It would seem to be a bug? $in

Hi, There’s a requirement to automate the reply message to the WhatsApp source ticket users having condition with description as some message. And this reply should be sent on WhatsApp, not to be sent as an email response to the WhatsApp ticket users. This is much much required since we have received so many same kind of requests from different users. It would be highly appreciated if we have a solution or work around for this.

Hello,We as a company have only recently started using Freshdesk following leaving an old ITSM solution. I can’t see anyone has mentioned this in the forums or from searches online so I thought I’d message here.We support a large number of schools for their IT issues, teachers are generally always teaching and they will say to us to contact them at say 12pm on Wednesday. In our old ITSM we could put the ticket on hold/pending and set it to open on a specific date/time by setting this in a field, the ticket would then change to an open state once that specific date/time is reached.I can’t see any way to do this in Freshdesk. I know you can use the To-Do list feature to set a reminder but this doesn’t take the ticket from a Pending state to an Open state, it just sits as Pending requiring the assigned user to set it as Open themselves. Is there a way for the To-Do list to automate this to set as Open? If this was possible then that would be a really good solution for usDoes anyone have an
