Using Freshsales

Hi There,We are new to FreshSales and want to know what are best practices used when you start your conversation from Contact Page , make a deal and then the customer comes back to make another deal.How do you ensure that the return customer is not missed?

I wanted to start a general conversation around customer journeys and automation.In my work at Funnelsflex, I’ve noticed that as teams add more automation inside tools like Freshworks, the overall journey can become harder to reason about. Each automation solves a local problem, but over time the experience across touchpoints can feel fragmented for both customers and support teams.What’s helped in some cases is stepping back and mapping the journey end to end before adding new rules or workflows. Once the core flow is clear, automation tends to support the experience instead of complicating it.Curious how others here approach this: Do you regularly review and simplify workflows? How do you decide when automation adds value versus friction? Any lessons learned from scaling support or CRM processes? Just looking to learn from real experiences and share observations.

Since long I am wondering why there are no product updates on freshsales ? Are you guys not working on any enhancements, making features more better and theres lot to do. Wondering this !!!!

Hello,I have a problem with a payment for the company Instaview s.r.o.. I am trying to pay for a monthly plan on Freshsales, but I am unable to complete the payment because the system does not accept our DIČ number, which is considered a VAT number for you. However, in our case, we should not have one, as we are not VAT payers.I am not sure how to resolve this issue. When  I add the below data to the deal, the amounf of the deal  is  1000 instead of 10000.Product : A Unit Price : 1000 Unit : 1 Pricing Type :Subscription Billing Cycle : 10I need some advice about that.Thnaks.

I am adding a custom app to our Freshsales Suite, and things seem to show up correctly for the Contact menu.Is full page app supported in Freshsales?If not, it would be fantastic if the documentation mentioned where things do or don’t work, depending on the app. For example, using “freshsales” in the manifest DOES NOT WORK, but “freshworks_crm” does.

For example, in Freshdesk, I’ve added fields like: Subscription Type (Free, Premium, VIP) Device Used (Android, iOS, Smart TV) Last Active Date I’ve mapped these fields to Freshsales contacts, but the data isn’t syncing. Im not able to read field “deal_payment_status_id” in the response of GET /api/deals/id/ I tried also use include query parameter.Could you please help me?

Hi,I’m trying to reduce the fields requiring manual entries and thus want to auto populate a field called country code dependent on the country picked. Example India → 91, US → 1, etc.  This is 1 to 1 mapping hence the values should be assigned by default when picking a country. Unable to do so by making it a dependent field,  because even then it shows the option in a dropdown and not by default. Also, if someone can help create default values for a lot of fields it would help out. As of now all custom fields default to blanks. It should be easy to pick one option as a default field.
