Using Freshsales

Hi, I am struggling to create a workflow that automatically resolves a parent ticket once the child ticket has been resolvedFor context. We have Equipment Request forms and a child ticket for delivery of the equipmentWe want to reduce having to manually check as the delivery is the end point of the processI can only find ways to auto resolve the child ticket once the parent is resolved but we need the oppositeAny help would be appreciated please 😭. im pretty new to workflows so unsure of APIs etc  

Hi all,I am currently in the process of attempting to use information parsed from a MS Form via the fresh service connector on power automate. However when I attempt to send an approval email to myself, I get no email sent to me. Below is currently the state of my workflow within Fresh serviceFlow And the expression node used to parse the information Expression used to parse stringsWhile the workflow does trigger and automate successfully according to the log, I receive no email asking for my approval. 

Hi community expertsMy company wants to create a 360 view of our contacts stored in Freshsales by integrating with data from other sources. For example, when viewing the details of a contact, I want to add a new tab. Content of that new tab will be taken directly from another system’s API. Is it possible to do such customization in Freshsales?Appreciated for your advice

The freshdesk and freshsales integration has a major limitation.  Due to shared agent roles permission, the freshsales agents has no public note permission and therefore reply via email (outlook/gmail) will not be captured in Freshdesk ticket.  Imagine the following situation:1. The FS Agent received a complaint via email from a customer.2. FS Agent added the support email in his reply via Outlook (TO/CC field).3. A ticket is created in FD.4  After a while, let's say the FS Agent want to follow up on this OR the FS agent wants to provide more information

Fixing the Name column width would make the system far more user friendly.Each time I look at any table view I have to manually increase the width of the first Name column to view more than a few letters of text, even when there is plenty of empty space and few columns displayed.

I have successfully gotten a custom app to show up when I use “freshworks_crm” in the manifest and use the “my first app” template offered in the menu.However, I’ve noticed that the react app template is only available under freshdesk.Does this mean that react apps are not supported under freshsales?

Testing out freshsales as an alternative to our current salesforce org. Im loving everything so far, but im stumpped. It seems that PricingType,Subscription cycle,No. of billing cycles have nothing to do with the deal amount. It seems that the deal amount is only affected by unit price,setup fee and quantity.I might be doing something wrong, but if im not… I guess has anyone figured out a workaround to incorporate those details into the deal price. Its pretty big for selling SaaS type subsctiption products..For a simple example.. I set the unit price(license price) at $100 dollars. Selling 100 units. Subscription cycle is yearly and the billing cycle is 5.Right now its just 100*100=$10,000… What makes more sense is that it would be 100*100*5=$50,000.

Why are the follow items greyed out and how do I edit them.  

We create a product quote for the customer and save as a deal - the customer can buy at multiple points from the quote, so on the first purchase we mark the deal as won and update the deal value to reflect the actual order amount (the original quote value is stored separately) But if the customer makes a subsequent purchase from the same quote, what is the best approach to record this?If we update the Deal with the net total of the purchases we loose the fact that the customer placed multiple orders against the single deal. I’ve thought of auto creating a new deal linked to the original quote but making the quote ID non-unique takes away the ability to search by quote ID with the API call so I’d prefer not to have multiple deals all referencing the same quote.Anyone out there have a good way to record order #1 order value #1, order #2, order value #2...etc.. against a single quote or deal? 

Hello, I’m having one very inconvenient issue, when I’m talking with a customer through email on the dashboard and send him my calendly to make a booking - sometimes client uses a different email so I have no idea who booked that meeting.Maybe it is possible to have some kind of a template and pre-fill customers email (use the one that we are sending this email to) ?I am relatively new to freshworks, so please let me know if there are better ways to manage bookings, appreciate it, thanks!

Hi dev community,  i have been looking for a elegant solution to store call recording along with phone call logging. but according to the documentation i have not found much field to store recording or any hyperlink address to place voice_audio_link. Is there anyone who have done this before or implemented this.  

Does it exists leads in the current app? Because i was not able to find that option but I watched on the youtube explanation videos

I need to edit this particular view to add more fields or edit the current ones. Is it possible?  

Hello, how can I sync my Freshdesk Company contacts and Freshsales Account contacts?In Freshdesk, the contacts are tagged under the same company.However, in Freshsales, the contacts are not linked to that account/company. I have to manually assign each one. This takes a lot of time.Is there a way to automatically update the Account in Freshsales based on their Company in Freshdesk?Thanks

Hi guys!I’m trying to create a custom app for my freshsales dashoard.For testing purposes, with Freshworks CLI I’ve created a freshsales template.During the work, I faced 2 problems:1. when creating an app, I get the following error ( on the screen )https://t4709810.p.clickup-attachments.com/t4709810/bf2810a0-7330-438a-9c4e-df5e1f31720f/image.png2.  I can't launch developer mode. I launched the local server with CLI, in browser set up my account's url + ?dev, but got the response from freshwork: couldn't find the page. I’d be really greatful if somebody helps!Thank you!

Hello!I created the following workflow:Based on the workspace, different webhooks will be executed, but everytime it fails during the automatic workflow when a ticket was created.When I enter the ID and Subject manually and click on “Test Webhook” it works and the subject of the ticket will be changed as wished, but not during the automatic workflow.It only fails with the following message and no other informations will be written into the history:This is all information I get but not why it fails. Does anyone have an idea?Than

I suggested my organization to buy freshsales as we are trying to build a sales team with a proper CRM. When we spoke to the sales team they said once we pay the next day we will get a onboarding call in order set up everything. so we paid. once we paid subscription their attitude has been completely changed and now they are asking us to wait for week. If they told us before we subscription we would have preferred hub spot or zoho but these cheaters are cunningly made us pay and now prolonging the onboarding call for ever. So no users be careful before you buy freshworks. I have email proofs and i am going to post it everywhere,  

Hello! Our development team is attempting to add one of our Freshsales classic web forms to our company’s website. However, they mentioned that the code snippet provided for the classic web form is not enough. They are requesting additional code or a predefined element id to actually mount the form to the site. Has anyone else experienced this or know where to find it in Freshsales? Thanks!

Hi guys!I’d like to add in my freshsales dashboard a button in a contact section. When I press the button, I want to send the contact details to webhook to 3rd party service. What’s the best way to achieve that?
