When I add the below data to the deal, the amounf of the deal is 1000 instead of 10000.
- Product : A
- Unit Price : 1000
- Unit : 1
- Pricing Type :Subscription
- Billing Cycle : 10
I need some advice about that.
Thnaks.

Hello,
Greetings from the Freshworks community!
The number of billing cycle will not multiply the deal value, however, the quantity of the product will only multiply the overall deal value.
Please find the above screenshot for reference. The number of billing cycle is only to indicate the subscription duration.
I hope this helps. Please do let me know in case of any further queries.
Have a good day!
Glad to your kind answer.
But, I recommend the logic of deal value calculation uses both quantity and billing cycle.
Because, in subscription billing, quantity is considered as monthly billed quantity in gegeneral.
The current logic is not unreasonable, but I want it to be more intuitive.
Happy NY!
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back and for the feedback.
I shall check with our team for the feasibility to enhance this feature.
Happy new year!
Also this was posted by another user so that is 3 of us now who think the logic (or wording) here doesn’t make sense.
Hi @gwjan
Hope you are doing well.
I would like to share an update that since the “Billing Cycles” field was causing confusion to several of our customers and it did not function as per expectations, we have deprecated the field to ensure better usability and understanding. Sharing a screenshot below for reference:
We would pick this up in future once the PM team work on the feature of ensuring that the calculation is correct between Deal value, subscription type and Billing cycle. We will keep you all posted for any planned feature enhancement on this area on future.
Do have a great day ahead!
