Find, vote on and share ideas for Freshworks products. Here is how it works and what happens next.
Every idea has a status. It shows where the idea is today.
Not every idea makes it to the end. Some stay open for votes as Future consideration. Others are Closed.
You get an email each time the status of an idea you posted, voted on or subscribed to changes.
No. Planned means the idea is on the roadmap. Timing can change as priorities change. We update the status when work starts and when the idea ships.
Six questions most people ask before they post.
An idea is a request for a feature or improvement that is not in the product today.
Something broken? That is a bug. Please contact Support so they can help you.
Yes. If a similar idea exists, vote and comment on it instead of adding a new one. Duplicate ideas split the votes, so no single idea shows how many people want it.
You get an email when the status of your idea changes. To follow an idea you did not post, subscribe to it.
An idea can be closed for one of these reasons:
Closed ideas stay searchable, so you can still read the comments.
The quickest way to make an impact is to back an idea that already exists.
Open the idea and select the vote button. Voting shows us which ideas matter to you. You need to be signed in to vote.
Open the idea and add your comment. The most useful comments say:
"I agree" helps less than a short example from your own work.
Select Subscribe on the idea. You get an email when the status changes or when someone replies.
Submit a new one. Use a clear title and describe the problem, not only the solution. Then we can see what you need, even if there is more than one way to solve it.

Referencing to ticket #13419792 my issue was fixed that drag’n’drop of images are now added into the ticket text box. But this works only for images. If you drop a zip file the following error appears:Idea:Instead of an error message why not dropping the attachment directly to the attachment field below?
The Requesters list view is currently extremely limited. It only shows Name and Email. It is very painful to use currently. Please add a search bar on top like in the “All Assets” view: Also please extend the Requester (and Agents) columns with:All fields visible on the individual record tags last activity created date modified date ticket count
HelloI think it would make sense, when you reply to a ticket from lets say charles@thiscompany.com and wanna add people in CC / CCI .. lets say I wanna add Simon, to automatically and in priority suggest contacts from @thiscompany.com instead of all the random Simons of all other companies .Thanks
I’ve created a workflow automator for when a device’s Asset Status is set to In Stock this will remove the user from the device and will leave Used By blank.I also want to add Department to be blank as the device will be back in stock and ready to be re-used however there is no option to select None so this won’t reset to blank within the Asset.I’ve made a work around by creating a new Department called ‘None’ however this would be better if we could remove Department completely the same as we can remove Used By.
Hello, We have in Sweden ( I guess other countries ) have ; (semicolon) as default list separator. So when you export CSV from example Excel you get a file with ; and not ,So what I want is Freshworks products could accept semicolon as well.
If a company has articles that can only be served to a particular jurisdiction it would be nice to have the ability to geofence the article based on the user’s location. This would also help create a safer and more accurate generative AI chatbot experience if it pulls information from the knowledge base.
The deal value displayed indicates the first month invoice to the customer only. this can include one offs , reoccurring items , their unit prices and setup fees, but only for the first month. The real deal total value is the sum of this over the duration of the billing cycle. (from gap analysis on other systems)
When you create a line item for a deal it allows you to select a product and set the amount but not a description. What happens if you want to add the same product twice for two different thihngs? How do you tell them apart. Two examples:We sell two subscriptions to the same client for 2 different projects. “Event 1” and “Event 2”. Each with a different amount. There is no way on a quote for the client to tell which subscription is for which event. We quote 2 pieces of custom development, one for “Feature X” and one for “Feature Y”, both and different prices. How does the customer know what price is for “Feature X” and what is for Feature Y”?The lack of this feature makes the quoting module unusable for the majority of our quotes which is a shame as it would be nice to be able to use this. If you look at something like quotes in Xero, they allow you to override the default description on a per line item basis.
I’d like to be able to use quotes (“) in contact names for preferred names. Example:
Hi!Currently in Products you can only select Asset Type from Hardware tree, which generally makes sense, however it would be nice if we coud also select other Asset Types, especially custom ones. The main goal is that we can actually connect to Service Catalog so that fulfillment can be streamlined.Yes, we could put our custom Asset Types under Hardware, but then they inherit all the fields from hardware that are not applicable.Looking forward to your feedback!
It would be very helpful to have a better overview of the automations if we were able to create groups in the different categories like “ticket creation”, “time triggers” and “ticket update”- We have over 200 rules in one category so it would be a great help.
Ability to set re-occurring project tasks, for example daily, weekly or monthly tasks set at a specific time instead of just a start date and end date. Thanks.
