MY email are not syncing with CRM?

Hello, Greetings from the Freshworks Community!The email sync between your personal mailbox and Freshsales can work either 1-way sync (Emails sent from Freshsales will be synced to your mailbox) or 2-way sync (email sent/received in both the apps will be synced). The emails from your mailbox will be synced to the CRM only when there is an existing lead/contact present with the same email address. If not, the emails will not be synced. Once the integration is successful, you can also import the historic emails from the mailbox to the CRM. Please refer to the support articles below for your reference, How to connect my email with the web application? How to POST files through a Zapier Webhook

Hey Alvin, Currently, there is no option to add the notes field in the report as we do not support the text area fields to be added in reports filters or columns.

Hey Alvin, Greetings from the Freshworks Community. To have an everyday report on the sales activities created by the respective owners, you can create an analytics report as shown below. The report data will dynamically change for the respective day and will be grouped based on the individual owners. You can also schedule the report to receive the data in the form of a CSV/PDF file in your email. To schedule the email, click on the calendar icon on the top right corner and select the day/time at which the report should be sent out. Hope this helps!Do let us know in case of any further queries at support@freshsales.io, our team will be happy to help out.

Sales Sequence versus Workflow in FreshSales

Hello, Greetings from the Freshworks Community. The sales sequences and workflows serve different purposes. Let’s look into two different examples to understand which automation can be used when. Example 1 - If a campaign should be sent to a specific set of records automatically on a specific date/time in a sequential way, sales sequence would be the right choice. A sales sequence has 2 types (classic/smart) wherein, the classic sequence is where you can define the day at which the email/SMS/reminder should be set having any interval between 2 steps. You can define a filter/set of filters and the leads that satisfies the conditions will be automatically pulled inside the sequence to go through all the email steps in the order. In case of a smart sequence, there are pre-defined equal time intervals which can be used to send out the emails. You can set up to 25 steps in a sequence within a 90 day time interval. Note: The sales sequence always run only on the configured date/time in bulk

CPQ isn't an addon?

Hello,Greetings from the Freshworks Community. The CPQ module is an add-on in the Freshsales suite and is available in the following plans. The CPQ add-on can be purchased from the Plans and Billing section from Admin settings. Once the add-on is purchased, the admin can enable CPQ for users based on their role from the Roles section. Kindly refer to this article to know more about the CPQ add-on - What is CPQ add-on? How do I set a default value for a form fields in Contacts, Account, Deal or Custom Modules

Hey Steve, Thanks for the clarification. If you’re looking to set a default field value in case of a webform, then we do have an option called “Hidden field” where you can declare the default value for a field in the form. In case of a classic form, please refer to the screenshot below on how to enable the hidden field option,Here, 1234 is the default value which would be auto-populated when the client submits the form and gets created as a contact. This value can later be edited by your users once the record is created.In case of a smart form, you can use the following code snippet to declare the hidden field value, <input style="display:none;" type="text" name="Source" value="Form1">I hope this helps.

How to allow specific role to edit a field when creating record but not edit that field later?

Hello Steve, Greetings from the Freshworks Community. I understand your concern, however, there is no option as of now to edit a field at the time of creation but not afterwards. If the field permission is set as “Read-only”, it will not let the user edit even while creating the record. It would be helpful if you can share more details on why you would be requiring this option to check with the development team for further enhancements based on the feasibility. I hope this helps. How do I set a default value for a form fields in Contacts, Account, Deal or Custom Modules

Hello Steve, Greetings from the Freshworks Community. I understand your requirement, however, currently there is no direct option to make a fixed value for a field by default. You can set up a workflow automation which can update the field value to a fixed value whenever there is a new record created. For example, if you’d like to make a field value by default as “XYZ” whenever a new contact is created, then the following workflow set up can be configured. The above screenshot is a sample to set a default value for a text field, similarly, you can set it up for other field types as well. I hope this helps. FreshWorks CRM - Webhook event trigger testing failed - But how email notfication received

Hello, Greetings from the Freshworks Community. The error 403 indicates that the user whose credentials were used in making this request was not authorized to perform this API call. It could be that this API call requires admin level credentials or perhaps the Freshsales portal doesn't have corresponding feature enabled. Kindly remove the custom header and click on the “Required authentication” checkbox > enter your login email address and password to see if the webhook triggers without any error. Do let us know in case of any further queries at support@freshsales.io, our support team will be glad to help you out.

Can a contact be processed by a Sales sequence multiple times?

Hello Steve, Greetings from the Freshworks Community. The sales sequence emails or steps will run for a contact only once and the same contact can not be added to the completed sequence again.  The emails will be sent out based on the day declared by you. For example, if you have created a classic sequence and mentioned, the first email should go out on day 1 (the day at which the contacts enter the sequence) and the consecutive steps on day 3, 5 etc. Then the email defined for the respective day will only be sent out once to the contact.  No, once a particular step has run or the day has passed, it will move on to the next step only. I hope this clarifies. Under what circumstances that we need to use Account (tag a Contact to an Account)

Hello, Greetings from the Freshworks Community. The Accounts module is exclusively to add the “Company” related information of the clients. If in case, you would be requiring to add the company information of a particular contact as well separately or interacting with multiple users from the same company, then accounts module can be used. For example, there’s an account “ABC” and you would be communicating with more than one user from the company, then they can be added as contacts and linked to the account. However, it is not mandatory to add in the account information in the account module. You can always leave the section empty and it wouldn’t affect the reports as well. I hope this is helpful. Please do write to support@freshsales.io in case of any further queries.

Is Freshsales totally broken? Cannot get Workflows to work.

Hello, Greetings from the Freshworks CRM community. Kindly follow the below steps and let us know the status of the issue, Try creating a new deal manually via Google Chrome’s incognito window and check if the error still persists there.  If the error doesn’t appear, follow the below steps to clear your browser cache and hard reload in your regular browser window and check if that works. Steps to clear cache and hard reload can be found in this video - https://share.vidyard.com/watch/s4sKZAeyeJv8RtjojM9Fgz Right-click anywhere on your Freshworks CRM page > click on “Inspect” A side tab would open up. Having that opened, click on the “Refresh” icon on the top left in your browser > select “Empty cache and hard reload”       3. Auto Reply

Hello David,As per the product behavior, the email sent to the requester via Automation would be a separate email thread (notification) to their mailbox and would not be added as a response to the ticket as such.   If you wish to add an automatic reply to the ticket, you can make use of Ticket creation/Ticket updates automation (Admin > Automation > Tickets > Ticket creation/Ticket updates) and use trigger webhook action to add a reply on the ticket.
