Show Asset Location Path in AssetNew Idea

In Admin you can create a location hierarchy which you can then assign to an asset.But there is no way to see this location path or location details in an asset and you can’t even search for a location to find it in admin to see the path or details without clicking through the hierarchy. Assume Location Path as: Country - City - Site - Building - Floor - Room - ‘Rack 15’‘Rack 15’ contains a Network Switch that has an asset and the asset is assigned to ‘Rack 15’ Now have an non admin agent try to find the location of that asset, good luck.Please show the location information somewhere in the asset details view.

Options on ticket form for CCNew Idea

Hello, I believe this was a request several years ago, however, I would like to revisit the request. Currently, if we want to have the option to CC additional requesters on the initial ticket creation, you have the option to only allow for the same department users to be added, OR you allow for ANY email address, including those outside of your organization.I propose to allow for a third option, for security reasons. We have the option to set up email domain restrictions under the Support Portal Settings. Can the third option on the CC function allow for all allowed domains under this setting? Or have a checklist of the domains there in that specified domains section?We have a lot of users that work with people outside of their department, and it would make sense to allow for them to CC one another on a ticket. We do not want to allow for external emails to be cc’d on a ticket for security reasons.Thank you for considering this once again.

Freshservice translation (Fill out the feedback form)In progress : Included in Product Roadmap

Translation quality in Freshservice is really poor.Some terminology is just wrong. E.g. ITIL Change is being translated with “Änderung”. In German ITIL it is also Change. And a Change Request is being translated with “Eine Änderung anfragen”. A Major Incident is being translated with “Schwerer Incident”, again ITIL in German is also Major Incident. And to be correct it would have to be “Schwere Störung”. On the other hand an asset is an asset, an incident is an incident. In some areas there is a mixture of German and English words in one sentence. Some German translations are really poor and I feel there is no proof reading by a native speaker or customer acceptance testing. If a user sets up an authorisation representative for service requests, the representative always receives info mails in English; this cannot be changed If you insert service fields via placeholders, e.g. in a mail, parts of them (field names such as "Item Name") are always in English. The handling of the translation file is way too complicated. Plus you cannot export/translate/import all necessary fields/texts.

Hi team. Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could clone an entire Page in Analytics with all the widgets within?Currently, you need to create a new page, go back to the original page, and clone widgets one by one to the newly created page. It is time consuming, when you have several widgets on a Page for real Analytics. We work with hundreds of KPIs and, have several reports (due to the limit of 10 pages per report), with several widgets per page, and this has taken longer than expected to get them properly set. Hope someone else misses the same. Sincerely,Elvis.

You have ## contacts that need your attention.We’ve started receiving the warning message:“You have X contacts that need your attention.”After investigation, we learned that this appears to be caused by the specific phone number formatting we use for our contacts. It seems that the system recently began enforcing a stricter format, possibly to align with phone integration or third-party telephony standards.Current Behavior:Our team does not use any phone integration features. We typically reference the phone number visually from the Contact Information section and dial it manually. The previous formatting was easier to read and understand at a glance. Example of easy-to-read format:(603) 123-4567 Ext. 123 Example of required (system-compliant) format:+6031234567123 While the latter is technically correct for integrations, it is much less human-friendly and harder to read.Proposed Solutions: Allow custom or multiple acceptable number formats — for instance, permit both human-readable and E.164-compliant versions. Provide an admin or user-level setting to disable or suppress this warning when phone integration is not in use. Optionally detect when phone integration is disabled and automatically relax the validation rules. Benefits: Improves readability for teams that manually dial numbers. Reduces unnecessary alerts or warnings. Provides flexibility for different use cases (integrated vs. non-integrated environments).
