Using Freshchat

Is there a way to customize FreshChat icons on the website when the chat is online/offline? This gives a clear visual cue to the customers on Chat available or not.

Anyone else notice that the contextual discussion function, where you can type in a Task’s comment “@Robert “ to have the comment directed to other folks in your firm, is intentionally broken?  Per support below, you now have to deploy Slack to your organization in order to do this going forward.  The native functionality has been replaced….  Ugh.  My school will not be implementing Slack this decade, so now what? If you are missing this functionality as well, please raise it with support.  8/18/21 Original support ticket statement: The discussion function in a Project's task is down, and has been down for at least a week. can we integrate freshdesk messaging in ionic project.?if yes then please recommend steps?

My situation is this: I am a developer attempting Freshchat API integration with our web application.I cannot use the default Freshchat widget as the iframe it creates doesn't play well with our url router.Starting the conversation seems like it would be easy enough:  Secret keys are stored on server (not public) Wrap Freshchat API calls on the server side Client asks for a new conversation (make or lookup userId) Client starts new conversation Agent on Freshchat receives the message   The WrinkleMy agent can reply in Freshchat to the message, but how can I send that data back to my client?My Stack will not allow me to send my client an unprompted message—we work on RESTful API calls. How do we fetch Entire chat bot conversation history in API mode or as an attachment ?

Hi,How do we capture selected button text into a variable within conversation? This is required for bot flow.. I have some dynamic buttons created as a result from API, User can select any button and hence i want to know which button he opted for and what was the button value.

Unable to invite agent into Freshchat. This thing is garbage.

I want to implement fresh chat bot with ios native SDK.Is there any way to open bots in ios?Currently default inbox will shown when i call showConversations() methd. 

Is there a way to send attachment throught the POST API of freshchat? Text and Images seems to work fine but i’m unable to send attachments. There is no documentation about the format of sending attachment.

whats app is very critical in our company and because we have multi-agents in the office we go to fresh chat, the point was not clarified by the salesman that maybe the whats app will not approve our marketing chat. honestly, we are relying on whats app to increase our sales retention by sending typical messages for our old client recently we move to fresh chat and whats app not allowing us to initiate normal message and this marketing proactive message is disapprove by whats appwhat is the solution here even though if we buy the marketing app ( targeted and triggered message ) i don't think that it will work with what's app

My team turns every interaction in Freshchat to Freshdesk so we can gather more ticket fields and information about our interactions. With that, customers in Freshchat never get the CSAT survey. Is there a way to manually initiate the CSAT rating in the chat window before the chat is resolved and turned into a ticket?
