Hello  How can we customise the ‘Article Voting’ text (see below image for what I am referring to). We simply want to change the text to “Was this article helpful? Yes No”. Can you provide a Liquid snippet of code to get us started and we can achieve this ourselves from there.   Our existing liquid code for the Article View is just:         …..       <hr />            {{article | article_attachments}}        {{article | article_voting }}        </section> Also how can we customise the ‘Article Voting Feedback Form’? Hi,I am looking to set up a workspace for both our Facilities Dept and our Finance Dept.I have only just started on this and have ran into these blockers already:Cannot take existing service items/categories or workflows and put them into different workspaceOn sandbox:Cannot publish service item until workspace is publishedCannot publish workspace in sandbox accountIs there no way of moving service items from the default into a new workspace? I do not want to re-enter them all as this will mess up the data we already have. Not sure if this is an available option once the workspace is published and do not want to publish it on live yet.I may just route the tickets to go to the facilities workspace from the default.Thanks,Elisha

I’m wondering if/when it will be possible to remove this indicator from a ticket. It’s annoying to be trying to visually scan the ticket queue and not be sure if I’ve already addressed something. Sometimes customers send auto responses, “thank you,” or “give me a few days” messages that don’t need an immediate response. I see that this is an issue that was brought up previously and the discussion was closed two years ago with a “bear with us” message. Any actual updates on the status of that change?

I have setup SSO for a new freshdesk account and am trying to work out how i have Freshdesk know about all our employees, so that when i go to create a ticket i can select and assign it to them.  i cannot see anywhere in the settings that seems to support this - can anyone advise?

When allocating a ticket to an internal group (using the shared ownership feature) you can use that group’s automatic assignment rules to pick a suitable agent - just like when a new ticket is created.  However if the group includes collaborators this breaks down because collaborators cannot set their availability.It almost seems like it *should* be possible, because they have a checkbox in the dashboard when you look at available agents.  However, if you check their box it has no effect (unlike with full agents) and is cleared again if you refresh - so it looks like the UI is the same for agents/collaborators alike, but there’s no field to be set for collaborators.I think I could work around this with some home-grown automations, but I’m sure this would put more load on the Freshdesk server than doing it natively using the facilities already in place.  Is there any reason why collaborators cannot have availability, or perhaps a setting I’ve missed which means they can?

Hi,it is possible to set a customer can see the tickets of other customers associated with the same company?EG customer AA (Company XX’s director) can see his ticket and also customer’s BB ticket (same company) 

Hello,We trying to make integration users from Azure( active directory) to freshdesk, and we trying to make automate user creation.  But when we done everythink, we get error “cannot be logged in as this user is not part of this organization”. We trying to find solution, but we dont have time, we want to start using grown plan and we have 370 users, and we dont want to create users with hand. Thanks i will wait for your respond.

Hello,I am having trouble retrieving historical ticket data, we have a lot of tickets that need to be retrieved for the whole 2024, but i am stuck in how to retrieve all of them. I have tried filtering and also using a “target_date” and a descending order from the latest ticket to the target date but i always get an error (mostly from reaching over the 300 pagination limit). I am trying this in python, can anyone help me on how to build a proper request for this? Thanks

What are people doing when you have a customer that is acquired or merges and starts going by a new name?  I’m finding there is no way to Edit existing names or merge with other companies, like you can for contacts.I would love to hear what other Freshdesk users are doing.

HiI’m a Freshdesk ‘newbie’. We are using the platform as a helpdesk to manage some contract creation with our various clients. It’s useful to keep the audit trail of all the dialogue, search for past work etc. My question is actually simple. I have set up freshdesk to send notification emails to my preferred email address. I would prefer to manage the ticket dialogue with the customer via email, rather than login to the web URL.Is there a way that I can have a two-way dialogue via email (outlook) and the emails all drop into the ticket audit trail?If not, does Freshdesk have a desktop app that I can use to manage the tickets, rather than login to the web url?ThanksMark

We have tried to add dependent fields to our ticket form, but they will not drop down when you go to submit a ticket in the portal. Does anyone have any solutions or similar problems?

Managing a support desk operating in one time zone only, but handling customers from multiple timezones, is a challenge. Let's imagine this:My helpdesk has 1 agent. This agent works in timezone EU. This agent handles both customers: Customer 1. Their contracted SLA with us uses business hours in EU, same as the agent.Customer 2. When a user created a ticket, our agent converts into a topic. And we have adapted a behaviour to post the agent reply in the forum topic. However, we cannot find any user reply to the ticket as a comment on the forum topic.Is there a way to convert the user’s ticket reply as the forum comment? Else, the forum topic conversation looks very absurd when you have the user’s ticket topic and description on the top and all the comments are by the agents with no relation on what the user is asking about.

I’m new to Freshdesk and have been attempting to import our assets from a csv file.The importer seems to run just fine, but always fails on the date formats.I have set the date format to the default YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm, which is also the exact format used in the csv file.Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Hey there, I’ve been experiencing problems while logging in to FreshDesk via Firefox ( 99.0.1 ). When my agent tries to login it just reloads the login page. No problems occur when logging in with Edge. Here’s what I tried to solve the problem:Deleting Cookies and History (did not help)complete new installation of Firefox (worked for 24 h)Changing the role of the agent (worked for 24 h) Here’s the real mystery: We have a Log-in-again-after-24-hours-policy in FreshDesk. 24 hours after Using the “Change role” way we experienced the same problems again.But changing the role did not help us this time.Resetting the password did not help, either.Of course deleting cookies and history neither.But this time it was not just a reload of the login page but we got this: First this screenAnd when we tried to login with the correct password Is there anyone out there experiencing the same problems or can give me any idea what to try next? Thank you in advance! Ulf
