Hi,I am looking to set up a workspace for both our Facilities Dept and our Finance Dept.I have only just started on this and have ran into these blockers already:Cannot take existing service items/categories or workflows and put them into different workspaceOn sandbox:Cannot publish service item until workspace is publishedCannot publish workspace in sandbox accountIs there no way of moving service items from the default into a new workspace? I do not want to re-enter them all as this will mess up the data we already have. Not sure if this is an available option once the workspace is published and do not want to publish it on live yet.I may just route the tickets to go to the facilities workspace from the default. Thanks,Elisha

Hello, I am trying to use Google Drive orch, but when testing, for example, to see the permissions of a file, the response is always "Illegal base64 character 5c" Does it work well for anyone?

I have setup SSO for a new freshdesk account and am trying to work out how i have Freshdesk know about all our employees, so that when i go to create a ticket i can select and assign it to them.  i cannot see anywhere in the settings that seems to support this - can anyone advise?

I’ve an ask. I want system to create a new ticket when customer responds on closed or resolved ticket after 15days. This is an urgent ask

When allocating a ticket to an internal group (using the shared ownership feature) you can use that group’s automatic assignment rules to pick a suitable agent - just like when a new ticket is created.  However if the group includes collaborators this breaks down because collaborators cannot set their availability. It almost seems like it *should* be possible, because they have a checkbox in the dashboard when you look at available agents.  However, if you check their box it has no effect (unlike with full agents) and is cleared again if you refresh - so it looks like the UI is the same for agents/collaborators alike, but there’s no field to be set for collaborators.I think I could work around this with some home-grown automations, but I’m sure this would put more load on the Freshdesk server than doing it natively using the facilities already in place.  Is there any reason why collaborators cannot have availability, or perhaps a setting I’ve missed which means they can?

Hello,We trying to make integration users from Azure( active directory) to freshdesk, and we trying to make automate user creation.  But when we done everythink, we get error “cannot be logged in as this user is not part of this organization”. We trying to find solution, but we dont have time, we want to start using grown plan and we have 370 users, and we dont want to create users with hand. Thanks i will wait for your respond.

Hello,I am having trouble retrieving historical ticket data, we have a lot of tickets that need to be retrieved for the whole 2024, but i am stuck in how to retrieve all of them. I have tried filtering and also using a “target_date” and a descending order from the latest ticket to the target date but i always get an error (mostly from reaching over the 300 pagination limit). I am trying this in python, can anyone help me on how to build a proper request for this? Thanks

Hi There, Did you know, is it possible to have an integration of Freshchat and some e-Commerce platform on each country? Our leads challenges us whether is it possible to have the integration?

What are people doing when you have a customer that is acquired or merges and starts going by a new name?  I’m finding there is no way to Edit existing names or merge with other companies, like you can for contacts.I would love to hear what other Freshdesk users are doing.

Hi there,Is it possible to send a blasting message on WhatsApp Business account by Freshchat?

When I attempt to create a solution article from URL using the Article creation API, I get the following errors:  "description": "Validation failed",    "errors": [        {            "field": "title",            "message": "This field cannot be empty",            "code": "missing_field"        },        {            "field": "description",            "message": "This field cannot be empty",            "code": "missing_field"        },        {            "field": "folder_id",            "message": "This field cannot be empty",            "code": "missing_field"        },        {            "field": "status",            "message": "This field cannot be empty",            "code": "missing_field"        }    ]I have all of these values set in the API call.  I have tried all sorts of formatting to make sure that the values are the correct type as well.  I am using postman currently, but I have also tried just running this in powershell with the same result.  I am sure that there is some

Hi,I’ve created a ticket form with many of customs fields, all of them are linked with a newly created ticket. In addition I have a few fields in the form (phone, telegram id, job title etc) which have to be linked with a user, not with a ticket. How to add information from these “user” fields to the Contact details? Thanks

HiI’m a Freshdesk ‘newbie’. We are using the platform as a helpdesk to manage some contract creation with our various clients. It’s useful to keep the audit trail of all the dialogue, search for past work etc. My question is actually simple. I have set up freshdesk to send notification emails to my preferred email address. I would prefer to manage the ticket dialogue with the customer via email, rather than login to the web URL.Is there a way that I can have a two-way dialogue via email (outlook) and the emails all drop into the ticket audit trail? If not, does Freshdesk have a desktop app that I can use to manage the tickets, rather than login to the web url?ThanksMark

Managing a support desk operating in one time zone only, but handling customers from multiple timezones, is a challenge. Let's imagine this:My helpdesk has 1 agent. This agent works in timezone EU. This agent handles both customers: Customer 1. Their contracted SLA with us uses business hours in EU, same as the agent.Customer 2. Their contracted SLA with us uses business hours in US, not the same as the agent. How can I set up Freshdesk to support this - so that:In a ticket queue sorted by "Due by" it is related to the specific customer's business hours, and not the agent group business hours? When I pull report on for example SLA violations, these SLA violations are related to the relative business hours of the customer?Example:Customer 2 reports a ticket that has a 1 hour resolution time. They report the ticket at 4PM (US time). The agent (working in EU time) resolves the ticket at 8AM (EU time), therefore violating the SLA. When SLA follows the agent (group) this ticket’s SLA would

When we want to email a Suggested Solution as Inserted Content, the footer logo's get sized 3x or more when recieved in the email. How can we prevent this?Article:Email:Comparison: Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for an option to make contact fields conditional, similar to what you can now do with sections in the ticket fields configuration page:ExampleI have a pet YES (section) type of pet fish cat dog name of pet text field food text field NO (section) empty Final ResultI have a pet : yes type of pet : fish name of pet : nemo food : spaghetti Has anyone worked out a way to do this? We normally have a lot of contact fields, and I worry that without some kind of filtering, it will all be very difficult to parse for our team.

Looking to understand how to us html to, display a single solution article on freshdesk’s customer landing page. This single article is a table of contents, with pertinent groupings for each article.Any help on how to reference one article and display it on the landing page would be appreciated.

When a user created a ticket, our agent converts into a topic. And we have adapted a behaviour to post the agent reply in the forum topic. However, we cannot find any user reply to the ticket as a comment on the forum topic. Is there a way to convert the user’s ticket reply as the forum comment? Else, the forum topic conversation looks very absurd when you have the user’s ticket topic and description on the top and all the comments are by the agents with no relation on what the user is asking about.

I found this ancient thread: https://support.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/300507/page/3?url_locale= But would also like to have the possibility to show a solution article in multiple folders. We have multiple products with articles which apply to all, and some only to a few. Right now we’d need to greatly overhaul our main page or get a custom folder view but that’s not an option for us.

I’m new to Freshdesk and have been attempting to import our assets from a csv file. The importer seems to run just fine, but always fails on the date formats.I have set the date format to the default YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm, which is also the exact format used in the csv file.Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Is it possible to revoke portal access for a single customer?

Hey there, I’ve been experiencing problems while logging in to FreshDesk via Firefox ( 99.0.1 ). When my agent tries to login it just reloads the login page. No problems occur when logging in with Edge. Here’s what I tried to solve the problem:Deleting Cookies and History (did not help)complete new installation of Firefox (worked for 24 h)Changing the role of the agent (worked for 24 h) Here’s the real mystery: We have a Log-in-again-after-24-hours-policy in FreshDesk. 24 hours after Using the “Change role” way we experienced the same problems again. But changing the role did not help us this time.Resetting the password did not help, either.Of course deleting cookies and history neither. But this time it was not just a reload of the login page but we got this: First this screenAnd when we tried to login with the correct password Is there anyone out there experiencing the same problems or can give me any idea what to try next? Thank you in advance! Ulf

Hello,We’re using Faraday + s3 links provided by the Freshdesk API when fetching tickets.  We’re able to download ticket attachments but are not sure what format they’re in when they arrive. We need to be able to encode/decode these ticket attachments and save them to our own s3 instance.  These will be PDFs exclusively. Is this something we need to change in the Faraday settings?

Hello,I am developing an app for the ticket_sidebar.  Are we able to control the vertical height of the app's panel? By default my app opens to a fairly small area.  This forces the user to do a lot of scrolling.I tried using client.instance.resize({height:"500px"});, but it didn’t workIs resizing the ticket_sidebar app in freshchat is possible or not, if yes then how do we proceed with it?Thanks,
