Heya everyone, as the title describes I’m encountering errors when I try submitting a ticket on both the embedded form and the portal itself. This is going to be a little bit rant-y, but I’m very frustrated with Freshdesk Support. I have submitted 2 different support tickets to Freshdesk support requesting help with a variety of issues over the last 7 days and have currently heard nothing on either one. This is particularly frustrating because on day 5 I resubmitted the first ticket to freshsales support instead and received multiple responses plus a resolution within 24 hours. Presumably these are two different team of people who are likely working completely remote from each other but the Freshdesk support is frankly bordering on embarrassing at this point. Not to mention I now have a third open ticket that appears to be intended for an internal sales agent to reach out to us and try to up-sell or otherwise “close the upgrade” in our plan. I can’t tell if whoever is running that support is clueless or what is going on but if our company wasn’t so set on using Freshdesk this would definitely be enough to get us to consider

I go to Assets / Inventory. I apply a filter on Asset Type = Hardware. I press the cog (Customize columns). I add a column and position it, and remove another column. I apply the change, the page refreshes and shows the new table structure and data. I change the Asset type in the filter. The column customizations are removed it the default table structure appears. I reset the filter so that Asset Type = Hardware. I still see the default table - my customized columns are gone! I would prefer the Customized Columns to remain, at least for the same filter.

Hello Community :) A new fixed column appeared this lunchtime on the ticket list.Unfortunately, I do not want this column to be fixed. Indeed, it has no added value in my process I want the same features as before this update. Thank you for reading

We use Freshdesk as our IT support ticketing system. When ever we respond to a ticket it caches the email address, so when you add a CC to your message all addresses you’ve ever written to appear there. There are former employees and outside addresses I would really like to remove from that drop down list. Is there any way to do that?

With the new Freddy self-service email bot, we were curious how many tickets customers are closing themselves now that they “have all the answers.” Is there a metric or filter in reporting we can use to show tickets closed by customers?

I need to use pagination to get all open tickets from freshdesk, but it’s not working as expected when i try to use “per_page”: api/v2/search/tickets?query="status:2" works fine, but don’t retrieve all results If i use the “page” parameter, it work fine too. api/v2/search/tickets?query="status:2"&page=2 But if i try to use “per_page” parameter it doesn’t work. api/v2/search/tickets?query="status:2"&per_page=2 Can someone help me figuring out what i’m missing? Hi Guys, Is there a way to use workflow automator to trigger an action if a service stage changes from one to another? For example, if the stage changes from Anything to Fulfilled then trigger an action? Much like with Service Request Approvals, if it changes from anything to approved then trigger an action. I cant seem to work out how to do it with a stage change on the requested item. Thanks!

Documentation department is making user docs with images, formatting and most importantly links. I’ve tried every way I could think of to publish a new article with the same exact format / layout and I’m losing the functionality of the original document. I’m sure I’m missing something.How can I publish the user docs exactly as they would be in the original Word doc?

In Freshservice, is there a way to force the Description field to always show the whole content, without the default set to make the user click “Read More” ? Most of our descriptions will have pertinent information that our users will not see without clicking the Read More link, which many of our users won’t do.

We have tried to add dependent fields to our ticket form, but they will not drop down when you go to submit a ticket in the portal. Does anyone have any solutions or similar problems?

Hi Community, I’m trying to automate the creation of the tickets. I built a Microsoft Forms and I want to use Power Automate to send to my support@mycompanyname.freshdesk.com an email and after that, it should create automatically the ticket but I’m not being able to find where I can do that. Hi, I cannot setup Freshdesk app. It does not recognise the url (copied and pasted from working desktop). It will not send a reminder. “unable to send a reminder at this time”. It has been saying that for 12 hours. Brand new Lenovo tab M8. Android 13. Any ideas please?

Hey everyone, hope everyone in the community is well! I’m a new customer to Freshworks, FreshDesk and FreshChat so I’m learning my around each of the systems stage-by-stage. I do have a question in regards to the Custom CSS Editor, within the Web Chat settings (Within the Freshchat product) I have already inspected various classes, and applied those styles in to the CSS Editor, and used the !important flag as a way to overrule specific styles, but I am a little confused, to whether the preview of the chat embed (I’m referring to the preview panel of the chat window) should be updating in real-time as I’m applying my Custom CSS updates? As it seems no matter which custom styles I am implementing, nothing seems to be updating in terms of the style of the chat within the preview panel. Am I missing a trick somewhere? Ideally, I’m wanting to change the ‘div.body’ background colour through targeting that specific class. Does anyone have any pointers on how to achieve this? I have searched a

When I import a CSV and map the fields, it imports correctly, but one of the fields has HTML tags in it to be used by a workflow. The HTML is stripped out after the import is finished. Is there a different way to format my CSV to preserve the HTML formatting as literal text? Should I URL encode the text and then run a liquid filter in the Expression Builder node?
