FreshChat Conversation Email

This feels basic but I’m really struggling!I have a few chatbots setup for our website that give or gather different pieces of information (like customer details) and resolve the chat. Works great and fully automated. We have no live agents and don’t need any in our case.I’d like the transcripts / conversations send out by email to a specific address though so that a human can follow up on each at a later point. The conversation will have any information needed.We don’t use FreshDesk and have a specialist CRM/ticketing platform so email fits for now.I’m on the Growth Plan. I can see there is an app called Advanced Automations which might help but I need Pro or Enterprise to use it which is a lot of extra cost to get an email notification.Thanks for any help.

Can't integrate WhatsApp on Freshchat

We’ve been trying to integrate WhatsApp since last week, and tried all troubleshooting provided to us by the support to no avail. Anyone here has encountered ‘Error in Fetching Numbers’? What can be done about it? Thank you!

When agent closes the conversation in Freshchat, CSAT survey will show up in Freschat messenger automatically when we setup in the CSAT settings.Does this CSAT survey will also get triggered when user is from Whatsapp or Facebook..?

Several months ago I was told by support that you will eventually be able to use your Contact Center number in Freshchat over SMS. Is there any info on when that will be available? SMS was an important part of my workflow before switching to Omnichannel and I would like to start using it again.

HiWe have a Freshchat widget on our website that we’re trying to direct customers to. We’ve investigated having the chat widget open automatically on page load or after a delay, using the instructions found here; however, we’ve found that on mobile phones the opened chat widget is too big and covers the entire screen, confusing customers.I have two questions on this function:Is it possible to modify the JS code to only open the full widget if the user is on desktop? Is it possible to display a smaller message encouraging users to open the widget instead of the full widget? e.g. like this:

Bug? Icons appear as weird symbols on web

Hey, I’m having a problem with displaying icons as correct content. When I inspect the icons it appears as this in CSS file: .icon-ic_close:before { . content: "ï„‰"; } Instead of this:.icon-ic_close:before { content: ""; } I’ve read that this might be an @charset “UTF-8” issue, but from our side, the UTF-8 is set.Any ideas would be appreciated

What kind of chat workflows are there?

We are trying to implement a "tier/level" system with our customer service. We have added different groups for our Chats. However, I do not see an option to reassign a chat to another group if no agents in the first group are available. I was hoping for an option like the FreshCaller’s workflow. Where if there are no available level one agent available the chat would be moved up to any available level 2 agent. Does anyone have a work around they are using? Or is there an option that I am over looking?

We get stuck at the “test connection” portion:Head to the Messages for Business Account page and scroll down to the Messaging Service Provider section.Click on ‘Test your Messaging Service Provider connection.’After that, you’ll be directed to this Chat Sign-in page where you can sign up for preview access to the Chat integration for Apple Messages for Business. NEED IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE - Launch ChatBot with a Button

Hey guys - We are using the chatbot in a self serve capacity and I have been asked to also launch said bot via a button. The code that we were using did launch the chat widget but not the bot. Our bot is only available to users who are logged in and therefore, are authenticated when they launch the chatbot window. As someone who is not a javascript coder, how do i launch the chatbot via an on click of a button? AND have it still utilize the authentication process? I hope that this is easily doable and would be very grateful for any direction, guidance, assistance, insight and any other advice you might have. To be clear, they want the chatbot icon on the page but want to launch the chatbot via a button on the page as well. System migration - need advice choosing new platform

I am a Spanish speaker I will try my best in English I hope I made myself clear enough. During many years I have been working on a spreadsheet (google sheets) for a company, to be used as the main database and management system, where you can find customer info, you can see all the purchases made by that client, you can get a list of clients that need to be reached, you can find the prices list for the products, product information, you can use it to input the orders, print every order and track it until delivery and payment, and the order itself also feeds stock, create an order to refill stock, It is also used to calculate the payment for the salesmen, create statistics and get sales trends, etc. It includes almost everything the client needs, it's pretty cool. Everything created in google sheets. No macros needed so far. The thing is that now the client needs to make the same system but more friendly to be used for non experienced people (almost none IT knowledge, I mean, at all!).
