Ticket Update Automation will work on ticket update from API update.

 

We have scenario where Ticket will be created from system A, and Then Create Automation will get executes, and calls System B, System B will pull some information and again update Ticket with these information. Then We have Ticket Update automation which will call System A with new tickets details.

 

Is this possible?

Yes, it is possible to set up such an automation workflow within Freshworks.

When we perform an action using API like updating a ticket via API the action is being performed by an agent(Admin) using the API key hence the ticket update automation will work with the condition when an action is performed by Agent.
