Merge vs Associated tickets

I know that merge tickets close out the secondary tickets and attaches to the primary ticket but do the users who submitted the secondary tickets still get replies if i reply to the primary ticket?

Does associated tickets do the same? Do the associated tickets get the reply if you reply to the primary parent ticket?

Hi @htran.fresh ,

Thank you for bringing this up.

When you merge tickets, the secondary tickets are closed out, and the users who submitted them do not receive replies sent to the primary ticket. Only the user of the primary ticket receives responses.

For associated tickets, the behavior is different. Replies sent to the primary parent ticket do not automatically get sent to the associated tickets. Each associated ticket operates independently, so the users of the associated tickets will not receive the reply unless it is manually added to those specific tickets.

Please do let me know if you require any further assistance on this matter.

No. Users of secondary or associated tickets do not get replies when you reply to the primary ticket.
