Hey Max,

Currently you can use the Freshdesk API to allow external programs to set status and change the priority of a ticket. Apart from this, you can add notes as you already know.

Can you be a little more clear on what exactly you mean by posting requests to a ticket?

Thanks,

Annapoorna

API only allow to send public comments but reply message like portal is not possible. Then when we try to send attachments, customers must login to download it, not like portal, it is sending like attached file, not like a link to customer portal in freshdesk with request to login to download it.

So your "API" doesn't allow a simple thing like posting comment from behalf of admin.

This is one of the reasons that we are moving to our own ticket system.

Hello,

You'll be able to add a response to the ticket using the latest API version. Read more here.

Cheers!
