Create Ticket AS CUSTOMER NOT Agent

Hello,




I've been trying to Create a Ticket as Customer using the API. 


Can anybody help me?




I've been using "support/tickets" and "support/tickets/new" in the URL but the response I get is the HTML of the Login page.




Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Janet,




Apologies for the delay in responding to your query. Currently it would only be possible for agents to create tickets using API. Also, you could use API v2 for ticket creationHere if you are using customer credential for creating a ticket, appropriate error message will be displayed in the response.

As a work around you could create the ticket as the agent and then use the API to update the requester_id on the ticket to your customer.


Not sure if that impacts any reporting.
