Hello,
I have this problem with a client where after about 7 days it stops working.
If I cancel the ongoing IP range scan it will just start again and work for a few days.
This is what I see in the logs at the moment the task was supposed to start on the day it stopped working:
2021-09-21 10:15:03,364 [8] DEBUG Freshservice.DiscoveryProbe.Scanner.DeviceIterator - waiting for monitoring thread to complete.
2021-09-21 10:15:05,833 [66] DEBUG Freshservice.DiscoveryProbe.Scanner.DeviceIterator - Number of devices to be stored: 1
2021-09-21 10:15:08,864 [66] DEBUG Freshservice.DiscoveryProbe.Scanner.DeviceIterator - Number of devices to be stored: 0
2021-09-21 10:15:11,882 [66] DEBUG Freshservice.DiscoveryProbe.Scanner.DeviceIterator - Number of devices to be stored: 0
2021-09-21 10:15:14,898 [66] DEBUG Freshservice.DiscoveryProbe.Scanner.DeviceIterator - Number of devices to be stored: 0
2021-09-21 10:15:17,915 [66] DEBUG Freshservice.DiscoveryProbe.Scanner.DeviceIterator - Number of devices to be stored: 0
2021-09-21 10:15:20,931 [66] DEBUG Freshservice.DiscoveryProbe.Scanner.DeviceIterator - Number of devices to be stored: 0
2021-09-21 10:15:23,946 [66] DEBUG Freshservice.DiscoveryProbe.Scanner.DeviceIterator - Number of devices to be stored: 0
And then it’s thousands of those until this when I manually stop the scan:
2021-09-22 12:18:41,852 [3] INFO Freshservice.Discovery.Utilities.OLogger -
Then I’m good for a few days.
FS probe 4.7.0
VMWare VM, Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard, 1 core (1 thread), 8GB RAM.
Anyone has any ideas?
