I’m new to Freshdesk and have been attempting to import our assets from a csv file.
The importer seems to run just fine, but always fails on the date formats.
I have set the date format to the default YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm, which is also the exact format used in the csv file.
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Solution:
In Excel, select all columns with dates, format > format cells > custom > type: yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm
Strange that Freshdesk requires this to be done even though nothing changes in the actual CSV.

I guess we are talking about Freshservice as Freshdesk do not have assets.
Did you try to export assets you have and check the format in the CSV ?
