You should be able to manually add a tag into the Tag list so you can reference it in a workflow and for it to give a warning when someone deletes it that it is associated to a workflow and should not be deleted.

The idea makes sense from a workflow-integrity standpoint. Hard-coded tags used in automated triggers or classification rules should ideally be protected the same way system fields are. Without that safeguard, any large platform managing dynamic content or user actions could run into inconsistencies.

Ya needing to add it to a ticket first is a pain, When you doing your flow and you like to remove a tag that you added in a action. Maybe when you add tag using an action in a WFA it should be added to the list directly.

And then because it is part of an action / workflow, it should not be allowed to be deleted until those actions have had the tag removed from every place.

Thanks for the clarification! Being able to tag and track workflow dependencies like this really prevents mistakes. I’ve found similar useful tips and step-by-step guidance on https://www.rejekibetapks.com/
