Hi team.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could clone an entire Page in Analytics with all the widgets within?

Currently, you need to create a new page, go back to the original page, and clone widgets one by one to the newly created page.

It is time consuming, when you have several widgets on a Page for real Analytics. We work with hundreds of KPIs and, have several reports (due to the limit of 10 pages per report), with several widgets per page, and this has taken longer than expected to get them properly set.

Hope someone else misses the same.

Sincerely,

Elvis.

Hi.

Clone Report is available, and it is good.

But, within a Report, you can have several pages.

The request is to be able to Clone a page:

It should be in the actions menu of each page

Agreed - cloning just a page would be wonderful.  I’ve frequently wound up cloning entire reports only to then have to delete multiple pages. If we can clone widgets and entire reports it feels like cloning a single page should be an option!

Agree with you Elvis! In my company, we often use Analytics Report as well. I do really need a “Page Cloning” feature in the next release of analytics report to help me work more efficient. because it took a lot of times to clone per widget, it also not efficient if i have to clone 1 report but only 1 page is needed.

So odd.

You can clone a report, clone a widget, but not a page.

It feels like the ability to clone a page would have existed before clone an entire report.

We need this feature as soon as possible, since they bring us a lot of rework when creating a report for the first time, especially if we want to leave the special filters on each page. to create them again is exhausting to shape and add them in the same place,

Absolutely agree! The ability to clone entire pages in Analytics, including all widgets, would be a game-changer. The current process of manually recreating widgets on a new page is time-consuming, especially when dealing with numerous KPIs and reports. Simplifying this would greatly enhance efficiency for users working with extensive data like us. Fingers crossed for such a feature in the future!

Hi,

Any news on this topic ?

The idea is still in “New Idea” from one year.

Should it be considered ?

Best Regards

This would be appreciated, similar to copying a sheet in an Excel workbook. Cloning a page and renaming would be a lot quicker. For example this morning I spent a good 30mins duplicating a tab for monthly vs. weekly. Also, cloning widgets to pages needs to preserve size and positioning as having to then resize everything on the new page is also very time consuming.
