Our company has been using Freshservice since February, and I’ve recently started exploring the Analytics section. I’m trying to create a report that shows the oldest tickets which are not in Resolved or Closed status. Please keep in mind that I’m very new to Analytics .
I’ve looked through the available online resources but haven’t found anything that directly addresses this, step by step.
Thanks,
Mike

@JoceLeco Please check out this video on how to create a report with a chart:
The above shows how to group the tickets by status and to add a date filter. You can ignore these steps if not required.
You can add a filter on the ‘Status’ attribute and use ‘does not include’ operator to filter out ‘Resolved’ and ‘Closed’ status tickets. Screenshot below.
After the chart shows the total no. of tickets, you can click on the underlying data view to view the list of tickets. Screenshot below.
On the underlying data view page, you can sort the tickets by Ticket ID which is a stand-in for the date of creation (oldest to newest). Screenshot below.
Hope this helps.
Just to add to the previous reply (which was really helpful! ), you can also click on “edit column” and then add “created date” as the second or third column as shown below. Ig, created date being displayed actually helps a little in sorting tickets.
Hi @Nav_in, I don’t see Edit Column icon. Why is that so?
FALSE ALARM, I FOUND HOW TO GET TO IT BY CLICKING ON EDIT FIRST. :-)
Hi @JoceLeco , May I know if you are able to edit the report or view the edit button at the top right corner (as shown below) ?
If so, then click on “edit”, the page will change to something like this:
You can then hover over the widget, click on the “underlying data” icon as shown here (credits: amrit)
Then you will be able to see the “edit column” icon:
