I noticed that scheduled reports are being emailed to reporting managers regardless if they are blank or not. This is redundant and is minimizing the effectiveness and probability that managers will open the email if they expect that reports are blank. Can you prevent blank scheduled reports from being emailed out?

Hi.

This is a fantastic idea, but it is that: An Idea.

So, I’d suggest to submit it here:

Freshworks Ideas | Freshworks Community

And ensure to share the link of the idea in order we could vote on it.

I’m pretty sure this would get some votes quickly.

Please be advised that this may also lead to thinking: “Scheduler is not working and not sending reports”, so, the case should be well elaborated.

You may also post the same on the Developers Community instead of here the User’s Community and engage them on this:

Freshworks Developer Community

You can also submit a support case and they will create an internal Feature Request for you, but being internal won’t allow to share any link for voting, but will help to also get the request through several ways.

Regards,

@bkarasalihovic As Elvis has mentioned, please log an idea for this request here so that we can track it : https://community.freshworks.com/ideas.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We'll implement a filter to ensure that only reports containing data are emailed to the reporting managers. This should improve the effectiveness and engagement with these reports.

@markanthony That would be awesome! How soon can we expect this filter to be implemented?
