Parent ticket template

I can create a template for a parent with some children.

In the parent template I preset some parameters such as the status, an assignee, ...

If I apply the template with the children to an existing ticket I would have expected that those parameters in the parent template overwrite the ones in that ticket. But that didn't happen.

Am I missing something or isn't that the idea behind the parent template?

Hello Sarah!

Thank you for reporting this issue with us. I'm interested as well to use parent ticket template.

Can you add some screenshots to show us the issue? You can blur parts you don't want to show publicly.

Or describe your issue step by step?

1 -

2 - etc..

Have a great day!

Cheers,

This is my new ticket

After the ticket is create I do "Add child using templates" and I select the above template.

This children are added correctly

This is the parent ticket, note that the Subject, Type, Status, Priority, Assign to are NOT taken from the template.

Hello Sarah.

Thank you.

I tested the setting and unfortunately I did not reproduce this issue.

All scopes appear.

Anyone with the same issue as Sarah?

Have a great day to you all!

Regards,
