We have an issue with Chromium based browsers when agents add an asset to our inventory, under the Asset Type field, the drop down only shows 1 asset type. This is an issue in Chrome and Edge however in Firefox and Brave this is not an issue.

 

We have tried inprivate and incognito settings in the 2 affected browsers and the issue remains.

 

Hoping it’s not just us and others have the same issue too.

We are experiencing the same issue.  I raised it with Freshservice Support yesterday and was informed “this is an ongoing bug in Freshservice and our developers are working on fixing”

Hope that puts your mind at rest that it is not unique to your environment


We are also seeing this same issue in our tenant. 


I have not heard anything back on my ticket with Fresh, but I just went in to check and I appear to see all our asset types.

This was fixed in a recent release - we reported it as a bug, but unfortunately no public bug tracker is available. 

For what it’s worth, we were able to work around the issue by picking the asset type before creating a new one in the filter view - this allowed us to at least pick the correct type while FW was working on the bug.
